Polifest is a festival of short films created by students. This festival serves as a collaborative tool and a platform for showcasing the work of young individuals who are developing projects and short films.

CALL FOR ENTRIES - SECOND EDITION of the POLIFEST UPV Festival

RULES FOR PARTICIPATION

FIRST
The submitted short films must be created by students, whether they are university students or enrolled in audiovisual degrees or studies. Short films wishing to be selected must attach a student ID or a document proving that the directors are currently pursuing audiovisual studies.

SECOND

There is no restriction on theme or language. However, if the language is not Spanish or Valencian, the short film must include subtitles. Short films must have a minimum duration of 1 minute and a maximum of 30 minutes.

THIRD

The submission period for the works extends from March 28th to May 7th, 2025.

FOURTH

The production and/or publication date of the short film must be no older than one year (January 1st, 2023, as the cut-off date for this edition).

FIFTH
The rights holders of the selected works grant the Festival the right to screen them during the different phases of the event, as well as to publish the poster, audiovisual materials, and promotional information about the short film on social media.
The organization is not responsible for any potential infringements related to the intellectual property rights of the submitted works, as it is assumed that the participants are the rights holders.
Participation in the Festival implies full acceptance of these rules. The Organization reserves the right to take appropriate measures and resolve unforeseen issues at its discretion.

SIXTH

Submissions must be sent in the following format: .mp4, codec: H.264 or H.265, resolution: 2K, 4K, or 1080p, Standard Frame Rate: 24 or 25 FPS, audio: PCM stereo or Dolby Digital 5.1.
Submissions must also include a brief synopsis, an official poster, three stills from the program, and information about the technical and artistic teams.
