WHAT ARE THE ISSUES OF THE FESTIVAL? The participants' short films should cover one of the following issues:
Community Health. Health is understood as an issue that is not individual, and therefore, it is possible to collaborate, help or promote community health processes by placing the emphasis outside the health center, rather on the other resources and people that generate health in the community. community.

Demedicalizing the everyday. Actions aimed at reversing the process of medicalization of life, understood as one in which events of daily life are converted into health problems, and from that perspective are approached and treated by different health professionals.

From the prescription drug prescription to the social prescription. Deprescription can be seen as the process of disassembling prescription drugs through their analysis, trying to solve their paradoxes. And social prescription as the referral that is made to a person who goes to the consultation to non-health resources that exist in the community.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE : Anyone over 18 years old.

HOW MANY SHORT FILMS CAN BE SUBMITTED?: Unlimited.

WHAT ARE THE CONDITIONS FOR THE SHORT FILMS?
The short film should last a maximum of 6 minutes, excluding the official start and end cover titles.

Short films with direct or indirect advertising from any sponsor, product or service will be rejected.

The first 3 seconds must contain the official competition cover title, and then the title cover, the title and director of the short film.

Rules

WHAT ARE THE ISSUES OF THE FESTIVAL? The participants' short films and photos should cover one of the following issues:

Primary health care understood as the essential health care accessible to all individuals and families in the community by means acceptable to them, with their full participation and at an affordable cost to the community.

Safe, appropriate and prudent use of medicines understood as the absence of unnecessary actual or potential harm associated with medicines use.

Medicalization of life understood as the process by which events of everyday life are converted into health problems; and from that perspective they are addressed and treated by different health professionals.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE : Anyone over 18 years old.

3. HOW MANY SHORT FILMS or PHOTOS CAN BE SUBMITTED?: Unlimited.

4. WHAT ARE THE CONDITIONS FOR THE SHORT FILMS?

WHAT LANGUAGE CAN YOU SUBMIT YOUR SHORT FILMS IN?: The short films can be submitted in any language. In the event that the language is not Spanish or English, subtitles should be inserted in either of these languages. To make it easier for people with impaired hearing, the jury will positively assess the presence of both Spanish and English subtitles.

WHAT CONDITIONS MUST BE MET BY CONTENDING PHOTOS?
The photographs must be in JPG format.
The file must not weigh more than 30 Megabytes and must have a minimum resolution of 300 dots per inch (dpi).
It will be cause for rejection photography direct or indirect advertising of any commercial, product or service.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE?:
Just register by filling in the registration form that appears on our website (http://polimedicado.org/wp-login.php?action=register). If the short has several directors, each of them must register on the platform.

The short films and photographs must be submitted to festival@polimedicado.org (directly for photographs and by www.wetransfer.com for short films) in the mail you must indicate your platform user, the short title, nationality, year and a brief synopsis. For photographs, indicate the user, title, author and year.

WHEN IS THE CLOSING DATE?: You can send your work at any point from 15 October 2015 to 30 April 2016. Once the deadline for the receipt of submissions is complete, the system will remain open for two more weeks to allow general audiences to vote. Thereafter, the votes will be counted in order to present the Audience Award, and then the jury will meet to decide the overall winner and runners-up. The awards will be presented in May 2016.

9. AWARDS :

JURY : The Jury's decision will be announced at the Closing Award Ceremony to be held in the month of May 2015. If the Jury feels that the submissions have not been of sufficient quality, prizes may not be awarded. The selection of winners will be at the sole discretion of the jury , and their decision shall be final.
The Audience Award will be chosen taking into account the audience generated in a given period and by popular vote, the organization reserves the right to remove those jobs in which were detected behaviors contrary to fair play and/or fraudulent voting or made by ghost users.

11. LEGAL: The author/s, by taking part in the festival, give/s free and voluntary ownership of the work to the Laboratory for Innovative Practices Polymedication and Health. In any case, these works will be protected under Creative Commons license 3.0 Attribution - NonCommercial - Share Alike (by- nc- sa) .
