The Puglia international film festival is the only Italian and European film festival that deals with and deals with exclusively political, social and historical issues that are directly interconnected and connected to each other.
After each screening there will be a live debate between operators in the world of cinema and characters belonging to Italian and international politics, historians, academics and organizations involved in social policies.
Puglia international film festival is an extraordinary annual event held in Polignano a mare, an authentic pearl and tourist destination in Puglia and Italy.

to the best feature film
Award in plaque, awarded by the jury to the best film in the Feature films section. The Artistic Direction has focused on a Feature Film Competition exclusively dedicated to international first and second works.

Award in plaque, awarded by the jury for the best film in the Shorts section.
Silver Key
Audience Award for Best Film
Award in plaque, awarded by the public to the best film in the Feature films section. After each screening, all the spectators present are called to vote with ballots.

Youth Award
Silver Key - Youth Award, dedicated to the Feature film section, is assigned by the youngsters who participate in the annual project "Puglia international Film Festival- Schools". The jury is composed of a selection of students.

ART. 1
CHARACTERISTICS OF THE WORKS
The works, published or unpublished, must have a minimum duration of 75 minutes.
Works in Italian will be accepted, or if in a foreign language they have subtitles in English or Italian (under penalty of exclusion of the work from the festival), which have been produced starting from January 2018, even if they have won other competitions for feature films.
Each author can participate with a maximum of 3 works (of the same genre or different genre).
The Festival has a historical, political and social theme and authors can participate with any genre, with the exception of Music Video and Horror.
ART. 2
JURY
The selected works will be communicated by the end of April 2020, by personal e-mail to the authors and on the Facebook page. The organization will appoint a panel of experts from the sector to select the films and, through a jury made directly by the spectator's public vote, to nominate the winners and award the prizes.
The decisions of this jury are final.
It will be up to the organization to assign any special mentions or awards to works deemed particularly significant.
ART. 3
TERM OF THE NOTICE
The deadline for sending the material is April 16, 2020.
For payment follow the following dates:
–Early Deadline: by March 18, 2020
- Regular Deadline: from 19 March to 16 April 2020
The date of receipt of the e-mail or the postmark in the event of dispatch by post will prevail.
ART. 4
REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT METHODS
Each selected work will be entitled to two free passes valid for the three days of the Festival, which can be spent by the individual director and by any other member of the production.

Subsequently the material must be sent as per Article 5.
In case of failure to select the work, the fee will not be returned.
The payment must be of the corresponding amount compared to the dates listed in the deadline of Article 3.
ART. 5
METHOD OF SENDING THE MATERIAL
The work file must be sent in MOV or MPEG4 format, via Wetransfer, FileMail or any other downloadable link, sent to the email address pugliafilmfestival@gmail.com
Together with the work file, it will be necessary to send by email a completed and signed copy of the REGISTRATION FORM and acceptance of the regulation.
Alternatively, a package containing:
- Copy of the work in DVD PAL format (or MOV or MPEG4) - Registration form and release form with acceptance of the regulation at the following address:

The shipment of the material is the author's responsibility and the organization does not assume responsibility for any theft, damage or loss of the same.
The material sent to participate in the competition will not be returned. Registration entails the deposit of all the works sent to the competition archive, which may also be used in locations and situations other than the Festival, excluding any use for commercial purposes.
ART. 6
NOTE
Once the organization has verified the correct sending of the work, the registration form and the payment of the fee, the authors will be notified by e-mail of the correct registration.
By registering for the competition, each author is responsible for the content of his works.
The author also declares and guarantees that the rights of the work are his property and that he does not infringe the rights of third parties, such as other authors, portrayed subjects, assignees of rights, musical rights, etc.
If the work contains content not owned by the participant in the Festival, he undertakes to assume all the disclaimers and authorizations necessary to participate in the
Festival itself.
In any case, the participant in the Festival and / or the author of the work, undertake to relieve the organization of the Puglia international Film Festival from any claim, damage request and / or expense from anyone advanced.
The admission request to the Festival implies the unconditional acceptance of all the points of the regulation. According to the law 196/03, the personal data of the authors will be processed only for the purpose of organizing the event.
ART. 7
GENERAL RULES
This regulation is written in Italian.
In the event of interpretative problems, the Italian version is authoritative.
The Festival management can take decisions related to matters not foreseen in this regulation.
The Court of BARI is competent for any controversy
