Rajaleña Film Fest is one of the three components that are part of the Cinema Tres platform. This is a film festival focused on promoting folklore through moving images that for 4 days will bring national and international guests who will be in charge of training the new generations of Huila filmmakers with talks, conversations and workshops to tell the stories that many want to count for them. Rajaleña Film Fest is a commitment to the territory that seeks to make history with the stories of all the people of La Plata.
1. Audiovisual productions may be in any of the native languages of Latin America. In the event that said language is not Spanish, the film must have subtitles.
2. The call is open to productions filmed and filmed in all technical supports (digital, 35mm, 16mm among others), participants must present their works with minimum quality standards, otherwise they will not be taken into account.
3. The copies must be accompanied by the synopsis, the personal data of the author or the group responsible, the signed technical file and a related photograph. A brief summary of the artistic or intellectual production (signed resume) of the author of the work or of the responsible group must also be submitted. 4. Each author or author group may submit more than one work, its unpublished nature not being mandatory and may have been awarded in other contests. Audiovisual productions must have been completed after January 1, 2022.
5. Contestants are responsible for ensuring that the submitted works are not subject to any type of legal claim.
6. More than one job and/or project can be sent per person and/or group.
7. The theme is free, but works dealing with folklore and territory will be prioritized.
8. The shortlisted and/or winners will assign the reproduction and exhibition rights, FOR STRICTLY CULTURAL AND/OR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES, for the memories of the first edition of the Rajaleña Film Fest 2023, and/or possible samples of the Festival, in different parts of Colombia and the World during the period 2023-2024.
