The Festival of shortfilms " Short Stories "10 , to be held at the House of Culture of Merlo , in October , aims to generate a space for exchange and sharing , promoting creativity , originality and the use of audiovisual media as a vehicle for artistic expression.
 

The jury will establish a first prize and all mentions that it considers necessary in the areas to emphasize for each Level and Category . You can also declare an item if deemed as such.

The Festival of shortfilms " Short Stories "10 , to be held at the House of Culture of Merlo , in October , aims to generate a space for exchange and sharing , promoting creativity , originality and the use of audiovisual media as a vehicle for artistic expression.
 
The event was created by an organizing committee and has the support of the Municipality of Merlo , the House of Culture and the Cultural Institute of the province of Buenos Aires.

The competitive sections will be governed by the following rules :
 
1 Festival may participate in the following categories :

a. Institutions at all levels recognized by the
Ministry of Education's and film and video workshops for children and adolescents .
b . Independent Producers (no age limits ) and Institutions of Cinematic Arts at national and international level .

2 was set as the registration deadline September 30th, 2015 . -

3 was set as the deadline for receipt of work on October 30th, 2015 . -
April . Papers must be submitted in DVD format PAL or NTSC format , which must be in perfect picture and sound.

May . The films may belong to documentaries , fiction , animation as long as they are framed in the theme of the Festival . The films that are not framed in the same subject may participate out of competition.

6. The theme for this year's Festival of short films is " Magic".

7. The films must be post- 2013 productions.

8. For category A, the work must be made ​​entirely by students ( writing, directing , technical products ) . For acting students may participate and / or others according to the criteria of the filmmakers. They may also be accompanied by a faculty advisor for post- production tasks . Each team will be composed of all the students who always wish they belong to the same institution. Each entry must have a faculty advisor in charge of it .

For Category B, the work presented by Film Art Institutes must have the endorsement of the establishment to which they represent. Besides short in this category must have a person responsible for the project.

9. 's Short films for both categories must have a maximum duration of 15 minutes including credits approximate.

10. The material presented in the Festival can be unpublished or not, can participate shorter than they have done in other festivals and / or contests.

11. Present advised copyrights registered with the agencies that apply.

12. Copies of the video shall be kept by the organizers and may dispose of them for further exposure and / or non-commercial distribution

The filmmakers authorize the Organising Committee to make a DVD compiling all Festival participants works for non-commercial purposes.

13. The jury will be composed of qualified people in the field and within the scope of the broadcast media , which will be selected by the Organizing Committee. The ruling is final thereof .

Due to space and time, the jury will determine (if necessary) the screening of the works that will be exhibited during the Festival , with the spirit of it, achieve full diffusion of the maximum amount of submissions .

15. Participants must provide a copy of the film in the final DVD format (PAL or NTSC), synopsis, data sheet ( with a history of production) , registration form and information about the filmmakers . All this information can be sent by mail , courier or in person to the House of Culture of Merlo , Avenue corner De la Calle Real Father Espinal ( Merlo ), CP 1722 , Tel 0220-4826018 , E - mail: festrelatoscortos @ yahoo . com.ar they should also send up to 4 photos in jpg format, to the assembly of the catalog and the DVD of the Festival , with the filmmakers themselves solely responsible for the material diffusion of his work appears in the channels of advertising event.

16. The filmmakers authorize the organizers of the Exhibition to present short at other festivals and / or samples, and / or non-commercial media . As well as publishing them on DVD and other media .

17. Participation in the Festival implies knowledge and acceptance of the rules . Any situation not covered by the same shall be resolved by the jury members and / or the organizers.
