Screen Power Film Festival is a brand new international film festival dedicated to celebrating powerful and unique short films from around the world.

We believe that great films should be recognised. Our mission is to give rising indie filmmakers a platform to showcase their hard work & talent, and a chance to socialise and network for their future endeavours.

시상내역

Selections and winners from each monthly competition receive laurels made available for online download. Monthly award winners have the opportunity to showcase their film live at the yearly Screen Power Award Show in London and compete in the annual competition. Annual competition winners will receive the 'Screen Power Prize' laurel and coveted trophy. All monthly selections and winners will also be featured on our website and social media pages.

Monthly Award Competitions begin and end on the 5th of each calendar month. Official Selection notifications will be sent on the 1st of the new month. Winners will notified on the 5th.

Screen Power Film Festival accepts films from a wide variety of themes, placing no restrictions on the content of your films. We encourage filmmakers with bold, unique and powerful stories to submit. Please find a full list of our rules and guidelines below.

⍟ All categories are for submission of short films under 40 minutes in duration.

⍟ International films (non-english speaking) must have subtitles in english.

⍟ Submitted films must have been made after January 1, 2017.

⍟ We have a wide range of categories for submission. To be considered for any additional category, you must select at least one main category from the three options provided (Best Narrative Short Film, Best Documentary Short Film, and Best International Short Film). Please note that additional selections will require additional costs. There is no limit to the amount of categories you can submit to, but please make sure that your film is eligible for your selected categories.

⍟ Entry fees are paid in full at time of submission. You can only pay/submit through Festhome.com.

⍟ All submissions must be fully complete at the time of submission. Incomplete submissions will not be selected.

⍟ Submission receipts will be posted via submitter’s account. It is the submitter’s responsibility to track the status of their submission. Submissions are generally updated to- “In Consideration” within 2-4 weeks of receipt.

⍟ We require proof of student status for student submissions.

⍟ The Screen Power Film Festival will take place in May 2021. The venue will be announced within at least one month of the event.

⍟ By submitting to us, you are giving consent to have your films promoted via our website and social media pages. This includes use of posters, photographs and trailers. We will not show the full length version of your film until the event (if selected). Films selected for the annual event will be asked to provide a HD, MOV or MP4 copy of the film.

⍟ The releases for all content including, but not limited to, music and talent must be obtained by the filmmaker. Screen Power Film Festival is not liable for any copyright infringement or unauthorised usage.

⍟ We reserve the right to refuse entries from the competition at any time. Please note, not all categories (main and additional) from the Monthly Winners will be included in the annual event. Categories selected to be part of the annual competition will be decided by the jury. Monthly winners will be the only ones eligible for the annual competition and event.

⍟ By submitting to us, you acknowledge that you have read and understand the submission rules and declare that your submission is in compliance with all of the rules stated by Screen Power Film Festival.
