Rules and Regulations

1. Entries for the SHORT CUTS International Short Film Festival 2024 are open for everyone.

2. The Short Film can be based on any subject or concept.

3. The Short Film can be in any language. However, all films must include sub-titles in english.

4. All entries must be accompanied by labelled still photographs, posters and trailer from the films for use in the promotion. The festival can use posters, photographs and trailers of the entries through our social media network.

5. The film must be of highest quality possible.

6. Only producer or director has rights to submit Short Films/Music Albums

7. Due credits must be given to the cast and the crew in the film though the final prize would go to the director(s)/producer(s)

8. The total runtime of the Short Film, including opening & closing credits, should strictly be a minimum of 3 minutes and a maximum of 35 minutes.

9. All content used in the short film must be either owned or licensed. If any copyrighted material is used in the film, the participant must have the permission and submit a copy to the Festival Organizers.

10. The Last Date for Submissions is 5th June 2024.

11. Short Films that were submitted for entry into the previous edition of the Shirt Cut International Short Film Festival are not eligible for entry again.

12. The Entry Fee is INR 1000 per film.

13. Multiple entries from the same participant are accepted, but each film must be accompanied by a separate form and entry fee.

14. The short films that are selected for final screening will not be allowed to withdraw under any circumstances until the festival is over.

15. Judges’ decision will be final and binding.

16. Festival Organizers reserve the right to change / modify / alter any rule or its part or event of this competition anytime.
