South Italy International Film Festival, is the festival of the south.

The festival will take place in Barletta, the city of the Disfida, the birthplace of Giuseppe De Nittis and Pietro Mennea.

The aim of the festival is to promote and valorise filmmakers, new generations and independent films.

Rules & Terms

1) All genres are accepted. Foreign language films must be subtitled in english.

2) Maximum short film duration: 25 minutes (including credits).

3) All genre films will accepted.

4) All films must be submitted as a secure online screener such as Vimeo, Youtube, etc... Once the first submission link has been received, it is not guaranteed that subsequent updates will be viewed.

5) No pornography. Explicit sexual or extreme nude content will result in disqualification.

6) Filmmakers must be at least 18 years old to enter.

7) Submissions in languages other than Italian must be subtitled in english or Italian

8) Short films must have been completed after 2016.

9) The festival has the right to disqualify or remove any winning film for any reasons.

10) The Festival reserves the right to make any necessary changes in regulations or scheduling.

11) The Festival reserves the right to shut the festival at any time without any notification

12) Once accepted and confirmed, no film can be removed from the festival.

13) Entrants are responsible for obtaining any necessary licenses, royalties, release forms, clearances, and permits necessary to present their work. South Italy International Film Festival is not responsible for any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, or royalty infringement related to the work.

14) Every short film selected in each edition of the "South Italy International Film Festival" gives authorization to the festival association to use up to 30 seconds of film and soundtrack for promotional purposes.

15)The trophy must be collected personally by the director or a member acting on his behalf.

AFTER SUBMISSION ACCEPTANCE:

In order for your title to be included in the Festival, you must agree to provide the following materials within 10 days of acceptance:

1.A poster of Short Movie.
Image must be in JPG or PNG format and AT LEAST 300 dpi resolution.

2. A trailer of the film emailed to us in .Mp4 format to promote your project on our website and social media.

3. your project in mp4 format or mov on official festival email adress

Submitting your film does not guarantee festival acceptance or screening.
