Our goal is to promote video art in public space and attract new audiences by organizing exhibitions in galleries and unconventional spaces and locations around town. Why Split? Split has a specific tradition in film and video art and with its rich history and mediterranean spirit it makes a perfect choice for this new and specific festival.

Split Videoart Festival will take place 26th - 29th May 2022 in Split. Festival focuses on recognizable author esthetics and individual views. The call is opened for international and domestic artists.

Split Videoart Festival invites international and domestic video artists to participate in the second edition that will take place in Split 26th - 29th May 2022.


Call for entries is opened for emerging and established authors, new authors and students.

Split Videoart Festival will take place 26th - 29th May 2022 in Split, Croatia. Festival focuses on recognizable author esthetics and individual views. The call is opened for international and domestic artists.

MAIN PROGRAMME

If applying in this category! Your work has to be up to 15 minutes long and presented as single-channel version or video installation. We accept all genres ( experimental, animated, hybrid, documentary, essays and all other non fictional and unconventional film and video) as long as they are suitable for public display.

SPECIAL PROGRAMME

In this category you can apply film and video work longer than 15 minutes, single-channel or multi-channel videos and loop installations.


All entries must be produced in time period 2020. - 2022.

Entry fee is 9€. If you apply through our website form: once you apply we will send you payment details with application number

By finalizing the application you accept that we use up to 15 sec or a screenshot of your work in promotional purposes for the festival ( presentation of work, booklet for the exhibition, promotional video etc.)

You can send your applications till April 1st at 23:59 Eastern European time. Payments to be made till April 1st.
