Stonefair International Film Festival is an online and live film festival, headquartered in Piatra-Neamt, Romania. Stonefair IFF is committed to supporting access to film in all of Piatra-Neamt community as well as supporting young film makers in their education.
The festival runs in 3 quarters, selections and screenings being made every 4 months, the third edition is due to take place on the 8th of May, 2017.
There will be 16 categories and Best Film will receive the Stonefair IFF Trophy, the winning films will be screened at the "G. T. Kirileanu" Public Library.
The "G. T. Kirileanu" Public Library has an important role in community with 85.000 inhabitants. The "G.T. Kirileanu" Neamt County Public Library co-ordinates the activity of the public libraries of our county and furthers the Piatra-Neamt Municipality and Neamt county inhabitants interests in reading, study, information, film, education and recreation.
The winners of each category will get our official printable AWARD CERTIFICATE.

The Official Selections, Nominations and Winners will be announced at the end of each quarter.
There will be 2 nominations per each category.
All genres and formats are eligible for the festival.
Films with a poor production standard will not be accepted (lack of sound quality, absence of subtitles/captions for non-English films, video resolution less than 720p HD).
StoneFair IFF has the right to not accept your submission without further notice.
Films
Only short films accepted- maximum 35 minutes of lenght (any genre from 1 minute films to long, narrative/artistic short films)
HD quality mandatory.
We only accept digital submissions. We accept no hardcopy submissions.
We accept films that have been shown at other festivals.
All films must be submitted with an online screener.
English subtitles mandatory(with an exception for music videos and movies where English is the main language spoken)
Winning films will be requested to provide a download link to the submission and english subtitles in subtitle formats(.txt, .sub, .srt, etc) so we can translate the movie for the audience, all of these no later than 1 week prior to the festival screening.
Films with more than one category (e.g. Animation and Experimental) can only be nominated for one ‘Animation’ or ‘Experimental’ award.
Submissions
Entry fee is not refundable.
Maximum 2 entries during a festival quarter(4 months).
The entry will be considered eligible in the next edition only if the film was not awarded in the previous one.
The winner of the Best Film Award cannot show off his film in our next 3 festival quarters.
Minimum 6 entries for an category to be considered eligible.
Disclaimer&Rights
By submitting your film to our festival you agree that your piece of work can be embeded on our website and screened at our location.
The filmmaker/institution that is submitting the film must own the rights to do so and is responsible for the content they are providing. By submitting, the filmmaker allows Stonefair IFF to screen his film at the location and also to create a page for their film without infringing copyright of any kind of form. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless us, our officers, affiliates, employees, and partners from any and all claims and liability arising out of entering or transmitting your film to StoneFair IFF. The filmmakers are free to submit multiple films as long as they own or have all the rights to the film.
The Festival does not pay any screening fees.
If your film will be selected as an award winner in our festival, it will be screened at our location for people to see. Winning films will be highlighted and promoted within the website/social networks.
Laurels
Filmmakers are allowed to use Stonefair IFF laurels on their winning/nominated/selected films ONLY. They can be used on posters as well as on other media available. The OFFICIAL SELECTION transparent laurel can be provided upon request.

Festhome holds accountable fees festivals by holding the payment of the fees of most newer festivals until they have viewed the submissions, held their festivals and other methods.
