SUDESTADA is an International Film Festival dedicated to the exhibition of cinema coming from the region of latinamerica. We showcase the work of independent filmmakers in a wide range of formats from fiction to experimental and non-fiction/documentary.

Our main goal is to promote a wider diversity in culture by representing the Latin American culture within the media and the arts.

-New gazes: Films of 60+ minutes made by directors from any country in Latin America: Argentina, Bolivia, Brasil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, México, Nicaragua, Panamá, Paraguay, Perú, Puerto Rico, República Dominicana, Uruguay y Venezuela. 2017-2021.

-Shorts Official Selection: Fiction, animation, documentary, experimental. Must be 15 minutes or less. Price given by Young Jury. 2017-2021.

-Feature Films: Any year and length.

-Running time: see "prizes".

-Animation, fiction, documentary, hybrid.
