Festival De Tango En Pasto ’Entre Tangos Y Volcanes’ ()

Audiovisual Showcase to be held within the framework of the festival on November 13, 14, and 15, 2025, in the city of Pasto.

The call is open to proposals whose theme revolves around tango, understood as a broad cultural universe that can be explored through music, dance, poetry, life stories, memory, or contemporary experiences. Tango must appear as a central element within the audiovisual narrative, whether in short films, documentaries, music videos, or other creative formats.

With this showcase, we aim to create a space for the circulation of diverse perspectives on tango and to enrich the dialogue between cinema, music, and dance within the festival.

The Audiovisual Showcase of the 1st Tango Festival “Entre Tangos y Volcanes” is non-competitive; therefore, no prizes or financial awards will be granted.
The selected works will be part of the official festival program, and their creators will receive a certificate of participation issued by the organization.

Theme: The works must have tango as their central theme or as a leading element within the story.

Accepted genres: Short films, documentaries, music videos, animations, or other audiovisual productions related to tango will be accepted.

Duration: Each work must not exceed 20 minutes.

Year of completion: No minimum year required.

Submission format: Works must be submitted in digital format (.mp4 or .mov) with a minimum resolution of 1080p.

Language: Productions may be in any language, but if not in Spanish, they must include Spanish subtitles.

Originality: Submitted works must be original and have all rights cleared for music, images, and other included materials.

Deadline: The call will remain open until October 22.

Selection: A curatorial committee of the festival will select the works to be included in the showcase.

Screening: The selected works will be screened during the festival on dates and venues determined by the organizers.
