TEASERFRENIA is the film festival where adrenaline is measured in seconds. This unique event pays homage to the trailer as the ultimate art form, challenging the audience’s sanity with an uninterrupted blast of stories that are either yet to come... or will never exist.

TEASERFRENIA isn’t looking for the full feature; it seeks pure impact, uncontrolled hype, and the perfect deception. It is the meeting point for directors, editors, and cinephiles who know that, sometimes, two minutes of illusion are worth more than two hours of reality.

1. All works in the fantasy and horror genres are eligible, including themes and other genres such as science fiction, gore, suspense, slasher, horror comedies, fantasy westerns, documentaries, animation, and fantasy action, provided the final result falls within the main required genres. AI-generated works are accepted.

2. Each author may submit as many works as they wish. Works completed on or after January 1, 2025, will be accepted.

3. Teasers or trailers must not exceed 5 minutes in length. Any language will be accepted. Works not in Spanish must be submitted with subtitles.

4. Works may participate in one of these two categories:

TRAILER'O'RAMA - For teasers or trailers of existing films or short films. If you have a trailer for your short film, you can submit it here. Submitted works must be for completed films or short films.

FAKE TRAILERS - For fake teasers or trailers of films or short films that do not exist.

5. Works will be submitted through the FESTHOME platform, with a registration fee.

6- From the submitted works, 5 finalist trailers will be selected in each section. The 10 finalist trailers will be available to view on the festival's YouTube channel starting December 9, 2026, until the 11th, where the public can vote for their favorites.
The selected films will also be screened during the festival and will be eligible for the awards for: BEST TRAILER 2026 and BEST FAKE TRAILER 2026.

7-JURY AND VOTING. To reach a final decision, the votes of the festival jury and the public who viewed and voted online for their favorite works will be taken into account. The jury's vote will account for 70% of the final decision. The public's vote, cast online, will account for 30% of the final decision.

8. The organization may use images to promote the event. Participation in this festival implies knowledge and acceptance of these rules.

9- Deadline for submission of works: October 31, 2026. Start date of the festival: December 12, 2026. Date of online screening of selected works: December 9, 2026.

10- Participating in this festival implies knowing and accepting the rules. Likewise, by participating, the person responsible for the work allows its inclusion on the festival's YouTube channel from December 9th to 13th, 2026.

11- Screenings of the selected works will take place during the BLOODY CHRISTMAS OF ALICANTE 2026 festival.
