The UK Film Festival welcomes features from all over the world from any genre and budget level.
These films should be over 40 minutes long and completed after 1 January 2022.
The Films will compete for the Best Feature Film Award.
Recent category highlights have included Oscar winners "Ida" from Poland and "The Broken Circle Breakdown" from Belgium as well as "Esio Trot" starring Dustin Hoffman, Judy Dench and James Corden. There have also been many much lower budget features including previous winners "Nocturne" and "Tell Tale Heart."

This category welcomes films from the UK and from all over the world including all budgets and genres. It offers the Biggest cash prize for short film in the UK.
These films should be under 40 minutes long and completed after 1 January 2022
Although the UK Film Festival screens the work of established filmmakers it also champions new-comers who may not yet have had the opportunity for a prestigious screening of their work.
The Category awards include Best International Short Film and Best British Short. The jury also grants special awards for excellence.
These films should be under 40 minutes and have been completed after January 2022.
Previous winners have gone on to be Oscar nominees like "Dekalb Elementary" in 2018 and "The Bazkashi Boys" as well as the 2015 Oscar winner "The Phone Call". The 2017 Oscar winner, "Stutterer" was also featured and Bafta winners have included “Boogaloo and Graham” in 2015 BAFTA winner and “Operator” in 2016.
