The Bola de Oro Neighborhood Association, in its annual agenda of cultural activities and in order to continue with the idea and intention of giving space and opportunity to different areas of artistic expression, invites all those who wish to participate in the Short Film Festival, "A Cinema Neighborhood".

The Bola de Oro Neighborhood Association, Granada, as organizer, calls for the First Edition of the “Un Barrio de Cine” Short Film Festival, which will be held in accordance with the bases and reasons set forth below:

ARTICLE 1. All those who wish may participate, regardless of age and place of residence.

ARTICLE 2. The submission period for the different works begins on June 1, 2024 at 8:00 p.m. and will end on September 1, 2024 at 8:00 p.m.

ARTICLE 3. The short film will have to last a maximum of 8 minutes, with credits included, the theme being completely free. The delivery format will be a .mov or .mp4 file with compression in H264 - 720p 48khz / with a weight no greater than 200 megabytes.

ARTICLE 4. Only one short film per person will be admitted. The works will be sent together with the registration data and a promotional poster of the short in a jpg file (at least 300 dpi) to the following email address via WeTransfer, https://www.wetransfer.com unbarriodecine2024@gmail.com Specifying the following data:

ARTICLE 5. The works presented must have been filmed after January 1, 2023 to be selected at the “Un Barrio de Cine” Festival that will be screened in the month of September in the Municipality of Granada, in the Autonomous Community of Andalusia, Spain.

ARTICLE 6. To continue with the idea and intention of giving space and opportunity to the different areas of artistic expression, the use of dissemination that the Organization can make with each of the works presented is reserved.

ARTICLE 7. The organization reserves the right to resolve any circumstance not provided for in the Bases.

ARTICLE 8. The Bola de Oro Neighborhood Association is not responsible for the content of the works presented and reserves the right not to accept those works whose contents are contrary to current legislation.

ARTICLE 10. Any short film that does not comply with the above regulations will automatically go to the unofficial section.

ARTICLE 11. The screenings can be held in different places in the municipality of Granada if requested, in the same way, they will be disseminated through the social media pages of the Bola de Oro Neighborhood Association.

ARTICLE 12. Participation in this Festival implies full acceptance of these Rules and waiver of any claim, rejecting all works that fail to comply with them.
