From the passion for the art of cinema was born the idea of VAL Petronio FILM FESTIVAL as a form of expression in the current social and cultural level.

The Consortium Nonsolomare in collaboration with PROLOCO of Castiglione Chiavarese and under the patronage of the Municipalities of Castiglione Chiavarese and Casarza Ligure, announces the second edition of "Petronio Valley Film Festival" (formerly Castiglione Chiavarese Film Festival). The International Short Film Festival Petronio VALLEY FILM FESTIVAL 2015 will take place on November 7, 2015 in Casarza Ligure at Villa Sottanis in Via V.Annuti 36 (Ge). Entry to the festival is free.

Cash Prizes: 250€

The jury will decide the winners of the best three short movies. The winner will receive a plaque of merit and a cash prize of 250 Euros.

The second and third place will receive a plaque of merit.

Regulations

REGULATIONS AND SUBSCRIPTION

May participate on the VAL Petronio FILM FESTIVAL 2015, professionals or not, of Italian and international cinema scene.

Theme is free.

Subscription to the festival is free.

Each short film must not exceed the duration of 20 minutes or it will be excluded.

The short films may be already published, but must have been made after the 31 of December 2012.

Films' content must not violate any law, nor violate privacy laws, resulting in an exclusion from the festival. Any third party has to grant specific authorization, under penalty of expulsion from the competition. Each author is responsible for presented works content and authorizes the public screening at the "Val Petronio Film Festival" without any compensation. The works will not be returned.

Non Italian movies or those in dialect must be subtitled in Italian.

All short movies must be received by the office within the 30 of September 2015 at the Tourist Information Point Via Canzio 57 C - 16030 Castiglione Chiavarese (Ge) in DVD format (+ R or -R) with the registration form attached and release form filled in its entirety and signed.

The ten finalists will be asked for the file or files in DVD format (MP4 or MOV) for the correct screening.


JURY

A jury of experts in film, literary, musical and artistic, will evaluate the works expressing unquestionable judgments. The organization is completely extraneous to the trial stage, will not respond from the decision of the jury.


AWARDS
