Viva! Latino Film Festival NYC Int'l is starting the process for 2017. The festival is the newest Latino international film festival in NYC. We will showcase emerging and established filmmakers from the U.S., Mexico and Latin America. We have industry representatives such as network executives, distributors, etc., on industry panels, workshops, and plenty more. Viva! Film Festival NYC is looking forward to meeting you and thanks for being part of this new event.

Festival programmers will select films to be shown.

Completion Requirement: Must have been completed after January 1, 2015..

Feature Run: Time minimum 75 minutes
Shorts Run :Time 40 minutes max including credits

Spanish language must be subtitled in English
Notification of Selections Date: July 17, 2017

No premiere requirement

Acceptance Requirement: ALL Media must have at least two Latino characters as leads or 2 supporting roles in the project.

Films which has been screened publicly in the NY area are opened for submissions.
n at private screenings not open to the public (for financing, investors, etc are eligible.
Press kit Requirement: A press kit is requested but not required, please include Bio-Film Credits, Director, Production Stills, etc.
Projects may originate from anywhere
Filmmakers will be solely responsible for delivering their exhibition video materials to and from the festival venue.

Viva Latino film festival cannot be held liable for your exhibition print/video materials which are lost or damaged during shipping. Blu-ray, DVD Region 0 & 1 NTSC only (no PAL DVD entries accepted) 2 Copies

Entrants warrant that they have the legal right to enter film work to the Viva Latino Film Festival. As the Director/Producer of the Film, entrants have submitted to the Festival, entrants represent and warrant to the Festival that the Film and all parts thereof are original; that the Film does not contravene the rights of any person or entity and that entrants own or control the Film and all parts thereof and have the sole authority to submit the Film to the Festival; the Film entrants submitted to the Festival is not subject to nor threatened by any litigation. Entrants acknowledge that no fiduciary or confidential relationship now exists between the Festival and entrants, and entrants further acknowledge that no such relationship is established by these guidelines, my submission of the Film, or by the Festival’s acceptance, review or retention of the Film.
