NATIONAL SHORT FILM FESTIVAL COMPETITION
“VSK Rueda 2019”
GRAN CANARIA, VALSEQUILLO.

Cash Prizes: 1,500€

The following awards are established:
1- Prize for the best short film with an award and € 600
2- Prize for the second best short film, endowed with an award and € 400
3-Prize for the best short film voted by the audience and endowed with an award and € 300
4 -Best novel short film (Canarian Community) and endowed with award and € 200.
5-Best Direction
6-Best production
7-Best actor
8-Best actress
-The Prize of the public will be by voting of the spectators when leaving each session making arithmetic average in the scores of 1 to 10 in each short film on the total of spectators, in order to compensate for the assistance that may vary between one pass or another. The organization will establish a specific number of days for said vote in order to have the winners for the Closing Gala in advance.

SECOND. PARTICIPANTS.
Participation in the short film competition is open to all filmmakers over 18, both individually and collectively, provided they have Spanish nationality.

THIRD. CALL FOR THE CONTEST.
The contest will be convened through the means that are considered most appropriate to give maximum dissemination and facilitate maximum participation, such as the bulletin board of the City of Valsequillo de Gran Canaria, websites, press, radio, television, through posters, ads, etc.

QUARTER. THEMATIC
The theme of the festival will be free, and its geographic scope the national territory.

FIFTH. DURATION
The length of the short films may not exceed 30 minutes including credit titles.

Short films may be sent through the following means:

C / DELIVERY IN REGISTRATION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
Delivery to the City Council registry from 09:00 to 13:00 H.
from Monday to Friday, in a sealed envelope that in addition to the work will contain the data referred to in point 7.3

SEVENTH: TECHNICAL ASPECTS
7.1 Short films can be silent or with built-in sound, Spanish being the language used. Short films in any language other than Spanish must have subtitles.

7.2 Short films must be after January 1, 2019.

7.3 In all shipments, the author / s data, photocopy of the DNI or similar will be clearly stated; technical sheet, filmography of the author, the short film poster and several frames and brief synopsis of it. Send in digital format or through the aforementioned Distribution Platforms.

7.4 The organization will make a previous selection, which will be notified to its authors. A projection copy of the SELECTED short films must be sent before November 27, 2019 by Wetransfer or Dropbox to the organization for the screening in the official section.

7.5 The mandatory presentation formats will be:
 .MPEG or .MP4.  .MOV (compression H264 or similar).

EIGHTH. DELIVERY TERM
The deadline for submission of work begins on October 28, 2019 and ends on November 20, 2019 (both inclusive).
