For an audacious and innovative cinema which does not amount to the basic vocabulary, which really raises itself the question of the direction, for an innovative cinema which is not formated " French cinema " style excessive social realism, but which inhales the big wide with visual and sound experiments which will remain burnt in us of long weeks after the projection, and especially, for a cinema which makes us dream and like the cinema, come to WE LOVE PARIS FILM FESTIVAL.

ELIGIBILITY

CONDITIONS
Only feature films that meet the following conditions may be submitted for consideration by the Official Selection:

• Films that have been produced during the twenty months preceding the Festival.

• Films must be a Paris premiere or second. This includes local films.

• Films whose distribution is limited to their country of origin.

• Films that have not been shown on the Internet or released on DVD.

FILM DURATION

Films with a duration of under 30 minutes can be presented to the Selection of short films.

DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION AND FOR RECEPTION
The registration deadline is the 1th December, 2017.

SUBTITLING
The Selection Committee will accept films:

•WITHOUT subtitles IF the original language is French

•WITH French subtitles for all other original languages.

N.B. It's not possible to present a working copy of the film.

LICENSES AND RIGHTS
All applicable licenses and waivers of copyrights, moral rights, trademarks and other such intellectual property rights have been secured by the filmmaker or the producer.

FEES
Submission fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.
Submission without fees are NON-ACCEPTED.

SELECTION

IF YOUR FILM IS SELECTED
You will be contacted before the official press conference, which will take place the first December 2017.

You must supply us either with a DCP (Digital Cinema Package), a JPEG 2000 file.
Or bluray.

The Film Department will send you all the necessary information on time, but only if your film is selected.

Upon notification of selection, the entrant agrees to immediately supply WLPFF with publicity materials and grants the Festival the right to utilize such materials for promotional purposes and to broadcast and/or screen clips.

RETURN
The DCP or Bluray are returned to the sender by the Festival only if you paid the fees for return (between 10 and 18 euros).

Other screening materials: Following the screening, the various materials received are not returned to the sender by the Festival. (Note however that materials may be picked up directly from the Festival offices until January 30th 2018, any time but not before and during the Festival.)
