World Cinema Carnival is fostering a vibrant and diverse community of filmmakers, producers, animators, video artists and researchers who experiment and counter the medium and language of cinema. Our thinking of curation performs beyond all subjugation and inhibitions while constantly experimenting with contextual and conceptual forms and definitions.
Apart from World Cinema Carnival, our year-round programs seek to stimulate conversations and initiatives about contemporary issues that cloud the community of artists, innovators and social changemakers worldwide. On a rolling basis, we invite panel proposals, workshop ideas, exchange programs, and discussion forums to bring art and cultural spaces closer to people – in an enriching and intimate sphere.
For preview purposes, we can only view your film online via an external link to websites such as YouTube or Vimeo also we can ask you for a download request of the films, and kindly open the embed option to make that video available to watch on Festhome.
The competition kindly asks that any awards won be mentioned in the projects' promotional materials, although it is not a requirement.
More than one entry may be submitted. Each project must be submitted separately with its own completed entry form.
Titles produced in languages other than English must have legible English subtitles.
