Casa Delfino onlus Foundation is proud to present the 11th edition of WORLD FEST FEST.
The WORLD FEST FEST is "short-documentary" film festival that promotes the potential of the moving picture as a tool to spread culture and as a social gathering. It supportes sperimentation in favour of the expression of the author, audiovisual quality and the new generations' creativity.

It also aims at the contribution to the quality of the celebrations by hosting events that are especially interesting in many cultural aspects and promoting a constructive dialogue among them.We also want to create a dialogue among different customs and traditions.

The WORLD FEST FEST 2020 will take place in Cuneo (Italy), on Sunday 6th September 2020.

- WORLD FEST FEST 2020 FEST.DOC section, divided in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

- WORLD FEST FEST 2020 FEST.FICTION section, divided in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

The WORLD FEST FEST 2020 contest program is divided in 2 sections:

1. FEST.DOC: A selection of the most representative videos of celebrations and social gatherings, with a particular focus on the most interesting ones in terms of origins and making.

This section stresses on the shooting process, the capability to emphasize the spirit and the subject of a celebration, capturing its moments and shades, expressing its charm and taking the viewer to its very center.

2. FEST.FICTION: This section is reserved for fiction dealing with the celebration theme.

The submission of the works to the selection is free.

4. Ground rules for participation

4.1. The contest is open to public and private bodies, professionals and amateurs.

4.2. All the selected works for the contest must be less than 15 minutes in length.

4.3. The producer of the video must own the rights of both music and images appearing in their work or use copyright free material.

4.4. Only films made after 1 January 2010 will be taken into consideration for the selection.

4.5. The final selection of the works for each section will be carried out by the Artistic Direction at its incontestable discretion according to the regulations in this guide.

It also reserves the right to choose in which section the works will be presented and when they will be programmed.

During the preselection the Artistic Direction could be helped out by a network of consultants.

5. Jury and prizes

5.1.1. The jury is made up by 5 (five) people coming from the world of culture and movies and it is coordinated by the President of “Casa Delfino” onlus Foundation.

Each section will have a chart with a prize:

- WORLD FEST FEST 2020 FEST.DOC section, divided in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

- WORLD FEST FEST 2020 FEST.FICTION section, divided in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

5.2. The verdict of the jury is definitive and incontestable.

6. Submitting the works

6.1. The submission of the works to the selection is free.

Works must come with the application form filled in all its parts. You can download it from the website http://www.fondazionedelfino.it and from the Foundation's official pages on Facebook and Blogspot.

Sent works will not be given back.

You can also apply online by sending an e-mail to info@fondazionedelfino.it with a signed copy of the application form and the file of the submitted work or the link where to download it from.

6.2. The contestant allows the video they sent to be permanently kept in the FEST FEST Archive; here it will be available for free consultation for educational and didactic purposes.

The work will be considered free from any kind of limitation as far as consultation, editorial and promotional use of it in the forthcoming editions of the FEST FEST concern.

6.3. The selected contestant that has submitted their work allows their material to be used for free at least for eight public showings. Once accepted the selection of the work it can't be withdrawn by the contestant.

6.4. The submission and the taking part in the selecting process of a video imply the complete agreement to these guidelines and to the Artistic Direction's decisions.

In the event of a dispute the italian version of this guide will be taken as authentic.

7.2. Shipping costs are charged to the contestant.

7.3. WORLD FEST FEST Direction can reject works that are not received in perfect technical condition.
