The aim of the ZOOM AWARDS is to promote and disseminate audiovisual content regardless of format, distribution channel or audience size.
The Official Section of the 24th edition is open to producers, broadcasters, students and independent creators from around the world who submit audiovisual content for all types of screens and that complies with the Awards’ rules.
The Zoom Awards also aim to be a meeting point between audiovisual professionals and students, as well as a platform for new talent.
The 24th edition of the Zoom Awards will take place on 21 November 2026 in Igualada (Barcelona).
7. Awards
The Official Jury will grant:
Zoom Award for Best Fiction Miniseries
Zoom Award for Best Fiction Series
Zoom Award for Best Entertainment Content
Zoom Award for Best News Content
Zoom Award for Best Sports Content
Zoom Award for Best Cultural and Educational Content
Zoom Award for Best Children and Youth Content
The verdict and awards ceremony will take place on 21 November 2026.
2. Categories
Productions may be submitted in one of the following 7 categories:
ENTERTAINMENT. Game shows, talent shows, reality shows, talk shows, info‑shows, factual, magazines, late‑night shows and comedy programmes.
NEWS AND CURRENT AFFAIRS. Newscasts, reports, debates, interviews and special current affairs programmes.
CULTURAL AND EDUCATIONAL. General programmes, music programmes, educational content and documentaries up to 55 minutes.
SPORTS. Regular sports programming and sports broadcasts.
CHILDREN AND YOUTH.Fiction and non‑fiction formats aimed at children and young audiences.
FICTION MINISERIES. Conceived as a closed work, with a complete narrative and no planned continuity in the form of additional seasons.
FICTION SERIES. Serialized audiovisual production structured in several episodes, with the possibility of one or more seasons, and with narrative, thematic or character continuity.
3. General conditions
Audiovisual content must meet the following requirements:
Productions of all nationalities and international co‑productions are accepted.
Producers, broadcasters and directors who hold the legal rights to the submitted content may participate.
Content submitted in any category must have been broadcast after 1 January 2025, or be currently on air.
Works must be submitted in their original version. If the original language is not Catalan or Spanish, they must include subtitles in English or French.
The organisation will select the works that will participate in the Official Section.
Participants must guarantee that their submission does not infringe third‑party rights.
4. Documentation for pre‑selection
To participate in the selection process, the following is required:
Register via www.festhome.com or www.premiszoom.org.
Pay the registration fee of €10.
In all categories, provide a link to view one episode of the format. In the case of fiction, a minimum of two episodes must be submitted.
The registration deadline is 29 August 2026.
5. Documentation in case of selection
The organisation will notify selected works using the contact details provided in the form. Selected works must provide a 20‑second clip in .MOV format for promotional purposes. Promotional material must be delivered before 15 September 2026.
6. Selection and jury
The jury’s decisions are final. The Official Jury will be composed of professionals from film, television and interactive media.
8. Notes
Awards may not be declared void.
The organisation may make copies of selected works for its video archive, exclusively for cultural and non‑profit purposes. In all cases, producers will be informed of their use.
9. Media
Participants authorise the use of excerpts from their work for media dissemination, without time limitation.
Registration implies full acceptance of these rules and their annexes.
