La convocatoria del Pitch de Plataformas, Productoras y Distribuidoras de Iberseries & Platino Industria está dirigida a creadores y productores audiovisuales de Iberoamérica con proyectos en diversas etapas: desde idea o desarrollo, hasta preproducción, producción o empaquetado. Esta iniciativa busca facilitar el encuentro entre los talentos emergentes o consolidados y ejecutivos clave de la industria audiovisual, incluyendo representantes de plataformas de streaming, productoras y distribuidoras nacionales e internacionales.
Los proyectos seleccionados participarán en reuniones privadas de 15 minutos con compañías interesadas en coproducir, financiar, adquirir o distribuir contenidos. Se aceptan largometrajes de ficción, animación y documental, así como series de todos los géneros (ficción, animación, documental y no ficción).
El evento se celebrará del 30 de septiembre al 3 de octubre de 2025 en Matadero Madrid, en el marco de Iberseries & Platino Industria, organizado por EGEDA y Fundación Secuoya.
La inscripción se realiza exclusivamente a través del sitio web oficial. En la edición anterior participaron más de 150 proyectos seleccionados y empresas como Amazon Studios, Sony, Warner Bros. Discovery y Telemundo.

Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Market
La Alternativa – Festival de Cine Independiente de Barcelona – abre convocatoria para el Laboratorio de Desarrollo de Cinema Pendent, dirigida a cineastas con largometrajes de ficción, híbridos o experimentales en fase de desarrollo o escritura. El laboratorio ofrece cuatro días de trabajo intensivo con mentoría de Pau Subirós, centrado en el análisis narrativo, conceptual y estético del proyecto.
Los proyectos seleccionados reciben una beca de 500 €, asesorías con profesionales del sector, acreditaciones para el festival y acceso a actividades de networking. Además, pueden optar a premios y ser derivados a otros programas como EXTREMLAB o el Pitching Forum del GAC.

Laboratorio de desarrollo - L'Alternativa
The 48th São Paulo International Film Festival introduces the first edition of its Works-in-Progress (WIP) program, targeting Brazilian feature films in advanced stages of post-production. The call is open to fiction, documentary, or animation projects in final phases such as editing, color correction, or sound mixing.
The WIP program aims to provide a platform where filmmakers can showcase their projects to key audiovisual industry professionals, including distributors, festival programmers, and international sales agents. This initiative facilitates the completion, distribution, and promotion of films, enhancing their chances for screening at festivals and international markets.
Applicants must submit technical and artistic sheets, synopses, a film excerpt between 5 and 20 minutes, and optionally, a letter of intent and distribution plan. The submission deadline was July 15, 2025.
During the event, held from October 22 to 25, 2025, selected projects will be presented in exclusive sessions and may compete for awards supporting film completion. This call offers a valuable opportunity for Brazilian filmmakers to advance their works on the international stage.

Mostra WIP
The 48 takes place on different weekends in different cities throughout the year. In each city local Film Teams—from beginners to pro's--compete to make a short film in only a weekend! Do you and your friends have what it takes to make a film on the fly?
It all begins with the Friday night Kickoff event when you and teams in your city draw genres out of a hat and receive the required elements for your film.
Then it is off to the races—writing, shooting and editing and doing whatever it takes to submit your short film on Sunday night.
The big payoff is seeing your masterpiece in the big screen at a local theater. Every film, both on-time and late, will screen. There is nothing better than seeing your film with an audience and seeing firsthand how they react to your movie.
At the city awards event, the winning films—as determined by local judges—are announced. More than a dozen awards are given—from Best Acting to Best Directing to the top prize: Best Film.
