BrLab Audience Design 2026 es un laboratorio especializado en el desarrollo estratégico de audiencias para largometrajes de ficción y documental. La convocatoria está abierta a proyectos de América Latina y la Península Ibérica, aceptando postulaciones internacionales.
Las inscripciones estarán abiertas hasta el 12 de diciembre de 2025, y el taller principal se realizará de forma presencial en São Paulo, Brasil, del 7 al 14 de abril de 2026, con actividades preparatorias online en febrero y marzo. El laboratorio se centra en la planificación estratégica de audiencias para proyectos en desarrollo, no en pitches ni mercados tradicionales.
Se aceptan únicamente largometrajes, incluyendo live action, animación o proyectos híbridos. Este espacio brinda herramientas y asesoría especializada para fortalecer la conexión entre el proyecto y su público potencial, fomentando estrategias de difusión y promoción efectivas.

The Cine en Construcción 45 program will take place on March 26 and 27, 2026 in Toulouse, as part of the Professional Platform of the Cinélatino Festival. This initiative supports Latin American films in post-production, helping them finalize, circulate internationally, and present their work to industry professionals.
Applications are open until January 28, 2026. Six projects will be selected by a dedicated committee, focusing on innovative and diverse works. The main goal of Cine en Construcción is to promote selected feature films to international festivals and markets, fostering connections and collaborations between filmmakers and producers.
The call accepts only feature-length films in fiction, animation, experimental, or hybrid formats, targeting Latin American filmmakers. Since 2002, this program has served as a launchpad for emerging films to reach audiences and strengthen their professional journey, highlighting cultural diversity and fresh perspectives in Latin American cinema.

Cinema in Progress – TOULOUSE
The third edition of the AFTER program, organized by ECAM Industria in Spain, is aimed at short film projects in development, providing support for emerging creators in their creative and production processes. Applications are open from December 12, 2025, to January 12, 2026, at 3:00 PM.
The program will take place over approximately one week in the first quarter of 2026, likely between late January and March. It is aimed at ECAM alumni and residents of the Madrid region, so international submissions outside this scope are not accepted.
AFTER accepts projects of any genre, including fiction, documentary, or animation, and focuses on script development, production, legal and financial guidance, as well as personalized mentorship. Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their projects at film forums and markets to enhance visibility and funding opportunities.
The required project format is exclusively short film, and selected participants will receive professional support to strengthen their projects comprehensively.

ECAM After
The Quiet Collective offers creative retreats and residencies open year-round, focused on the development of fiction and storytelling projects. These programs provide participants with immersive, collaborative environments to work on scripts, stories, and personal creative growth. The experiences take place primarily in Calabria, Italy, and accept participants from any nationality.
Key sessions scheduled for 2026 include: Embodying the Character from May 3 to 10; From Script to Pitch from May 24 to 31 and September 13 to 20; and The Creative Path from September 28 to October 4. These retreats are not competitions and do not include juries or awards; their purpose is to offer a space for exploration, learning, and creative development in fiction.
Participants work individually on their projects, benefiting from workshops, mentorship, and group dynamics. Registration is flexible, allowing integration at any available period, fostering continuous creativity and networking among writers, screenwriters, and artists interested in storytelling and fiction.

From Script to Pitch
MECAS (Mercado del Cine Casi Hecho) is an annual event held within the framework of the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria International Film Festival. Its aim is to promote the internationalization of film projects in advanced postproduction stages or with a first cut, facilitating contact between filmmakers and industry professionals.
