Histeria Lab is a workshop dedicated to the development of film projects in the genres of horror, fantasy, and science fiction. It is part of the Histeria International Fantastic Film Festival, held in San José, Costa Rica. Its goal is to provide filmmakers with tools and guidance to enhance their projects and facilitate their entry into the market. During the workshop, participants receive training and personalized advice from national and international professionals in areas such as screenwriting, direction, production, and pitching. Activities include masterclasses, individual sessions, and the preparation of a pitch, which is presented at the end of the event.

The Center for Cinema and Creation (CCC) in Chile and Cineka, The Place Where Stories Happen, in Mexico, through Grupo SURA, aims to contribute to the development and consolidation of the work undertaken by civil society groups and collectives in building collaborative spaces through audiovisual exhibition. This year, FantasoLab has been invited to participate in the IV IBERO-AMERICAN CO-PRODUCTION FORUM FOR HORROR AND FANTASTIC PROJECTS, an initiative of the Molins de Rei Horror Film Festival (Spain).
This forum is a meeting created by and for independent producers, aiming to create a network for sharing experiences and knowledge, supporting projects in development, and generating Ibero-American co-productions.

Fantasolab - Co-production Forum
We want to provide you with all the necessary conditions to bring your feature film project to life. To achieve this, we will implement an intensive program lasting six and a half months. The first and last sessions will be conducted online, while the majority of the program will take place in person at EICTV in Cuba. The goal is to start with a synopsis and finish with a script outline, a story, a conceptual and aesthetic treatment, a sound-designed cinematic piece filmed on celluloid and developed using traditional methods, as well as a production plan tailored to your project.
