The Pitch for Platforms, Producers, and Distributors at Iberseries & Platino Industria targets audiovisual creators and producers from Ibero-America with projects in all stages—from concept or development to pre-production, production, or packaging. The goal is to foster connections between emerging or established talents and key industry decision-makers, including representatives from major streaming platforms, production companies, and distributors.
Selected projects will be presented in 15-minute private meetings with companies seeking to co-produce, fund, acquire, or distribute audiovisual content. Eligible formats include fiction, animation, and documentary feature films, as well as all types of series (fiction, animation, documentary, and non-fiction).
The event will take place from September 30 to October 3, 2025, at Matadero Madrid, as part of Iberseries & Platino Industria, organized by EGEDA and Fundación Secuoya.
Applications must be submitted through the official website. In the previous edition, over 150 projects were selected, and companies such as Amazon Studios, Sony, Warner Bros. Discovery, and Telemundo participated.

Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Market
The Alternativa – Barcelona Independent Film Festival – launches a call for its Cinema Pendent Development Lab, aimed at filmmakers with fiction, hybrid, or experimental feature films in the writing or development stage. The lab consists of four days of intensive work guided by mentor Pau Subirós, focusing on narrative, conceptual, and stylistic analysis.
Selected projects receive a €500 grant, professional mentoring, festival accreditations, and access to networking events. They may also qualify for awards and be referred to other programs such as EXTREMLAB or the GAC Pitching Forum.

Development Lab - L'Alternativa
La 48ª Mostra Internacional de Cinema em São Paulo presenta la primera edición de su programa Works-in-Progress (WIP), dirigido a largometrajes brasileños en etapa avanzada de postproducción. La convocatoria está abierta para proyectos de ficción, documental o animación que se encuentren en fases finales como edición, corrección de color o mezcla de sonido.
El programa WIP tiene como objetivo brindar una plataforma donde cineastas puedan mostrar sus proyectos a profesionales clave de la industria audiovisual, incluyendo distribuidores, programadores de festivales y agentes de ventas internacionales. Esta iniciativa facilita la finalización, distribución y promoción de los filmes, ampliando sus oportunidades de exhibición en festivales y mercados internacionales.
Los participantes deben presentar una ficha técnica y artística, sinopsis, un trecho del filme de entre 5 y 20 minutos, y opcionalmente, una carta de intenciones y plan de distribución. La inscripción estuvo abierta hasta el 15 de julio de 2025.
Durante el evento, que se realizará del 22 al 25 de octubre de 2025, los proyectos seleccionados serán presentados en sesiones exclusivas y podrán competir por premios que apoyan la finalización de sus filmes. Esta convocatoria representa una gran oportunidad para cineastas brasileños que buscan impulsar sus obras en el panorama internacional.

Mostra WIP
The 22nd Co-Production Meeting of the Guadalajara International Film Festival (FICG 41) targets Ibero-American feature film projects in development (fiction, documentary, or animation) that have not yet been shot and have a completed script. Projects must have a minimum duration of 70 minutes and at least 20% of funding secured.
The call is open until October 24, 2025, and selected projects will participate from April 17 to 25, 2026, in Guadalajara, within the framework of FICG. Selected projects will receive one-on-one sessions with national and international professionals, free industry accreditation for two representatives, accommodation for up to four nights, and access to private pitch sessions to obtain support and financing.
Registration is done electronically via the FICG official platform. Travel and food expenses are the responsibility of the project, and attendance confirmation is mandatory to retain selection. This meeting is an opportunity to network, access financing, and present projects to international audiovisual industry representatives.
