MAJORDOCSPITCH 2025 is an open call for non-fiction filmmakers with feature-length documentaries in development, work in progress, or rough cut stages. Up to five projects will be selected to take part in a preparation and presentation program held in Palma de Mallorca.
The program includes a rehearsal session for pitching in English with an international mentor, followed by the official presentation before a panel of festival programmers, distributors, and industry professionals. Each project will have 15 minutes to present and receive feedback, as well as one-to-one meetings with invited experts.
Applications are open until September 30, 2025, and require an English-subtitled teaser, a completed form, and a registration fee of €15. The festival provides accreditation, inclusion in its catalogue, and one night of accommodation.
Awards include participation in the Industry Days of the Beldocs 2026 festival, with accreditation and expenses covered, as well as distribution consultancy from DOCMA and a one-year free membership in this association. All selected projects must acknowledge their participation in MAJORDOCSPITCH 2025 in the film’s credits.

MAJORDOCS PITCH
BrLab Rough Cut is an intensive workshop for feature films in the editing or post-production stage, aimed at teams from Latin America, the Iberian Peninsula, and Italy. Its goal is to provide personalized guidance from renowned editors to enhance the final cut of fiction films. The 2024 edition will take place in São Paulo from October 4 to 7. Projects must submit a recent cut and be near final editing. Selected films receive Ibermedia grants covering travel, accommodation, and meals for two representatives. The workshop also offers networking opportunities with industry professionals. BrLab Rough Cut has supported internationally awarded films, contributing to the growth and strengthening of the Ibero-American audiovisual industry.

La Hollywood Storytellers Script Competition es un concurso internacional de guion abierto a largometrajes, cortometrajes y pilotos de TV en cualquier género. El plazo para inscribir guiones termina el 2 de noviembre de 2025. Los guiones deben enviarse en inglés, en formato PDF y respetando los límites de páginas según la categoría. he ABCGuionistas Short Screenplay International Contest opens its eighth edition with the collaboration of Altamedia Studios, Instituto del Cine Madrid (Madrid Film Institute), in addition to the brands Marca de Autor and Un Verano de Guion.
The contest has the purpose of promoting the creation of short screenplays in Spanish and the visibility of their authors. It is opened for novel and professional screenwriters of any country seeking to show their storytelling talent, winning exposure and getting rewarded for writing.
