Italians Doc It Better es una convocatoria para proyectos de documentales italianos que se presentarán en el MIA Market 2025 en Roma (6-10 de octubre de 2025). Está dirigida a productores con documentales en postproducción, corte preliminar o terminados que no hayan sido exhibidos o distribuidos públicamente.
El objetivo es promover el cine documental italiano ofreciendo una plataforma para mostrar proyectos y facilitar su distribución internacional en cines, televisión y plataformas de streaming. Los proyectos elegibles incluyen largometrajes documentales, docuseries y documentales unitarios para televisión.
La fecha límite para la inscripción es el 10 de agosto de 2025. Los proyectos seleccionados tendrán visibilidad ante profesionales de la industria, distribuidores y canales de televisión, aumentando las posibilidades de coproducción y distribución.

MIA - Italians Doc It Better
The Cerdanya Film Festival announces the call for Pitch Links, its professional networking space for audiovisual projects in pre-production or production stages. It targets feature films, short films, series, and transmedia productions in fiction, animation, or documentary.
Projects with a gender perspective, historical themes, social outlook, or sex-affectivity, and those written and/or directed by women, will be especially valued. Dossiers must be submitted in Catalan or Spanish.
Selected projects will be presented on August 2, 2025, in Puigcerdà, during a pitching session before industry professionals. Participants will receive personalized mentorship and a €100 grant to facilitate attendance.

FICC - Pitch Links
Women Work in Progress is a program of the Cerdanya Film Festival aimed at audiovisual projects in postproduction, led by women under 30 seeking guidance and feedback from leading professionals in the audiovisual industry, as part of the festival’s Industry Days.
The program is structured around a closed-door, private screening session, where creators present their films in progress to a panel of professionals, followed by a dedicated work session with them.
Projects can be submitted in rough cut or editing phase.

FICC - Women WIP
The Extremadura Film Residency 2025-2026 is a filmmaking development program aimed at feature film projects in the script and audience strategy phase. It is open to filmmakers from Extremadura, Spain, Portugal, and Ibero-America, selecting a total of 15 projects: 5 from Extremadura, 5 from Spain, and 5 from Ibero-America.
The residency offers personalized mentorship, masterclasses with international experts, networking opportunities, and the chance to present projects at markets and festivals such as MAFIZ and the Extremadura & Ibero-American Film Week.
The program includes on-site workshops in Guadalupe (Cáceres) from November 24–30, 2025, and in Talavera la Real (Badajoz) from March 16–19, 2026. Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their projects at cultural and industry events throughout the program.
The call for applications is open until August 26, 2025, and interested candidates should submit their projects via the official website. This residency offers a unique chance for professional development and international exposure for selected projects.
