This initiative's main objective is to enhance the quality of audiovisual projects by Ibero-American authors, aiming to maximize their potential and position them in a more secure and qualified production environment. The projects will be developed from their embryonic phase through a rigorous advisory process, culminating in a high-quality script capable of becoming a film and/or series.

Ibero-American Audiovisual Project Development Course
El Taller de Revisión de Guion brinda la oportunidad a cineastas independientes de todo el mundo de trabajar de manera intensiva en sus guiones de largometraje de ficción en un entorno pensado para fomentar la colaboración profesional y el desarrollo de guiones de alta calidad. El Taller de Revisión de Guion consiste en un taller-residencia de dos semanas de duración y un módulo de seguimiento en línea de dos días.
Los facilitadores y las facilitadoras del taller son profesionales con amplia experiencia. Además del asesoramiento para el desarrollo de los guiones impartido en sesiones de trabajo grupales e individuales, los participantes disponen de tiempo para la escritura. El taller brinda a cada participante la oportunidad de discutir su proyecto con un grupo de cineastas internacionales, formar parte de una comunidad de artistas con sensibilidades similares y acceder a la red de cineastas de Cine Qua Non Lab.

ShortWay is a training and linking strategy that seeks animated short film projects of an authorial nature and with personal artistic visions, as a mechanism for the promotion and articulation of Latin American creators with producers and artists from all over the world.

Pixelatl - Shortway
The 7th Ibero-American Screenwriting Residency is a 4‑week immersive program taking place in Cali, Colombia, from October 20 to November 14, 2025. It is aimed at Ibero-American screenwriters with at least a first draft of a fiction feature screenplay.
The residency includes narrative and rewriting labs, staging workshops, and project development sessions. Participants receive group and individual mentorship, plus access to a Production Meeting with producers and industry professionals.
Cali, a UNESCO Creative City, offers a vibrant environment for writing and networking. Over 50 writers from 9 countries have joined previous editions, with films later featured in international festivals.

Ibero-American Script Residency - Something in Common
A workshop to stop and observe, to feel, to experience the passage of time, to reflect on what is filmed, and simply to want to make cinema. A contemplative cinema – slow cinema – in contrast to a chaotic, frantic, and globalized world. A cinema to reconnect with oneself, a cinema to raise awareness.
OBJECTIVES: ➝ Learn to observe and connect with the act of filming.
