La convocatoria para el Producers Showcase del European Film Market (EFM) 2026 está dirigida a productores/as españoles/as con experiencia en coproducción y distribución internacional, especialmente en Europa. Pueden inscribirse empresas que hayan producido al menos tres largometrajes de cualquier género y formato (ficción, documental o animación). El plazo de postulación finaliza el 23 de enero de 2026 y la selección se anunciará a finales de enero. Los participantes tendrán la oportunidad de participar en el Showcase y en actividades de networking dentro del EFM durante la Berlinale 2026, aunque la acreditación al mercado debe gestionarse por separado.
Se seleccionarán cinco productores/as, quienes podrán optar a un apoyo para viaje y alojamiento de hasta 1.500 € por persona. El pitch y las reuniones se realizarán en inglés, por lo que es obligatorio un buen dominio del idioma. El registro no tiene costo y los proyectos seleccionados aparecerán en los canales oficiales del ICAA e ICEX. La convocatoria es exclusivamente nacional, abierta únicamente a productoras españolas, y acepta únicamente proyectos de largometraje en desarrollo avanzado de cualquier género.

Producers Showcase - EUROPEAN FILM MARKET
The RTS Pitching, taking place during the VdR–Industry Days (April 6–9, 2025) in Nyon, Switzerland, was initiated by Radio Télévision Suisse (RTS) to promote innovative documentary filmmaking in French-speaking Switzerland.
This unique forum will showcase eight new documentary projects in the early stages of development, providing participants with the opportunity to present their ideas to industry professionals. The best feature-length project will receive a prize of 10,000 CHF in development funding, supporting the creation of works with a strong creative vision.
This competition fosters a collaborative environment aimed at promoting original Swiss documentary projects intended to reach a wide audience.

VdR - RTS Award
KVIFF Talents is a development program supported by the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival that nurtures audiovisual concepts and projects. Applications for the 2026 cycle are open from January 14 to February 16, 2026. The program takes place mainly in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, and is open only to applicants who are citizens or permanent residents of those countries. There are two streams: Feature Pool, focused on feature film concepts in early development, and Creative Pool, which accepts projects of any format or genre, including short films, series, animation, documentary, and multimedia concepts. Accepted formats include shorts, features, series, and animation of any narrative style. Selected projects gain creative support, mentorship from industry professionals, and opportunities to present to producers and investors during the festival. Additional benefits may include creative residencies and support for developing proofs of concept. The program emphasizes project development rather than a traditional market pitch. It culminates in presentations and ongoing development toward future production opportunities.

KVIFF Talents
Málaga Work in Progress (WIP) 2026 is a call from the Málaga Film Festival for feature films in an advanced or first cut stage, including both fiction and documentary. The initiative is open to filmmakers from Spain, Portugal, and Latin America, providing a platform to present their projects to industry professionals and facilitate financing, distribution, and international visibility.
Project submissions are open until January 15, 2026. The event will take place from March 10 to 13, 2026 in Málaga, Spain. WIP focuses on the Work in Progress section, highlighting projects seeking to complete post-production or secure support for distribution.
Participating feature films must be at least 60 minutes long and in an advanced cut stage. This call represents a valuable opportunity for Ibero-American filmmakers to showcase their works to international professionals and buyers, creating strategic contacts and visibility in festivals and film markets.

Málaga - WIP
Málaga Talent 2026 is an international program for training and developing audiovisual talent, part of the industry area of the Málaga Festival. It is aimed at young filmmakers from Europe and Latin America with projects in development. The program offers mentorship, specialized workshops, and networking activities to strengthen professional skills and help consolidate creative projects.
The call accepts projects of all formats and genres, including short films, feature films, series, fiction, documentary, animation, and experimental works. Completed works are not required; creativity and development potential are prioritized.
Twenty participants will be selected, who must be under 28 years old, with intermediate to advanced Spanish or English skills, and prior experience in areas such as directing, screenwriting, production, editing, cinematography, or sound. Projects must also have institutional or industry backing from the participant’s home country.
The on-site program will take place from March 4 to March 14, 2026, in Málaga, Spain. Although applications are not yet open, the deadline is expected to be February 1, 2026, so applicants should prepare their projects and documentation in advance. Málaga Talent offers a unique opportunity to advance innovative audiovisual projects and connect with industry professionals.
