MIA 2025 is now accepting submissions from producers with development projects in the Animation, Documentary, Drama, and Film categories. Up to 50 international projects will be selected, aiming for co-production, financing, or pre-sale agreements. Eligible projects must be intended for theatrical release, television broadcast, or digital streaming platforms. The submission deadline is June 19, 2025, by 5:00 PM CEST.
Selected projects will participate in the Pitching Forum during the event, held in Rome from October 6 to 10, 2025. They will also be eligible for the MIA Development Awards, each offering a €5,000 cash prize per category.
Participation is open to lead producers with a registered production company. Multiple projects may be submitted, provided each meets the eligibility criteria. All materials must be submitted in English.

The Hollywood Storytellers Script Competition is an international screenwriting contest open to feature films, shorts, and TV pilots across all genres. The submission deadline is November 2, 2025. In collaboration with the film project incubator RUTA CRÍTICA, the Puerto Rico Film Festival invites the community of PUERTO RICO filmmakers to PRFF PITCH'24, as part of its INDUSTRIA PRFF'24 efforts. In this edition we seek to give exposure to fiction feature films and documentary feature films in development, in front of international and national professionals from the Industry, for feedback and the possibility of collaboration, development or co-production.

The theme of the scripts is completely free and may belong to any genre. All works submitted must be original. If the contestant uses a novel, a short story or a text by another author as the basis for the script, the contestant must include in his or her registration the corresponding authorization from the author of the original work.

Script Competition - IBIZACINEFEST
Histeria Lab is a workshop dedicated to the development of film projects in the genres of horror, fantasy, and science fiction. It is part of the Histeria International Fantastic Film Festival, held in San José, Costa Rica. Its goal is to provide filmmakers with tools and guidance to enhance their projects and facilitate their entry into the market. During the workshop, participants receive training and personalized advice from national and international professionals in areas such as screenwriting, direction, production, and pitching. Activities include masterclasses, individual sessions, and the preparation of a pitch, which is presented at the end of the event.
