With the aim of strengthening the national animation sector and building on the training and industry processes developed in recent years, the Bogotá Audiovisual Market - BAM invites production companies and animation studios in 2025 to submit animation projects in development seeking financing alternatives.
This category is open to animated content, including series and feature films, aimed at audiences aged 3 to 16, requiring financial support to continue production and complete their development.

LUSCA, International Caribbean Fantastic Film Festival (LUSCA) is presented by Puerto Rico Film Academy, Inc. Its main objective is to promote the cinematographic art through the presentation of high quality films. LUSCA is an event that is celebrated in different places in Puerto Rico and lasts fifteen (15) days.
The script must be in one of the genres promoted by the LUSCA Fantastic Film Fest (fantasy, science fiction, comedy, bizarre).

LUSCA Film Fest - Screenplay Contest
BrLab Rough Cut is an intensive workshop for feature films in the editing or post-production stage, aimed at teams from Latin America, the Iberian Peninsula, and Italy. Its goal is to provide personalized guidance from renowned editors to enhance the final cut of fiction films. The 2024 edition will take place in São Paulo from October 4 to 7. Projects must submit a recent cut and be near final editing. Selected films receive Ibermedia grants covering travel, accommodation, and meals for two representatives. The workshop also offers networking opportunities with industry professionals. BrLab Rough Cut has supported internationally awarded films, contributing to the growth and strengthening of the Ibero-American audiovisual industry.

BrLab Rough Cut
The call “Older Women Filmmakers… for Gender Justice” is aimed at women over 50 residing in Cuba who wish to create a short film with a gender and intersectional perspective. The initiative is led by the UNFPA in Cuba, the Havana International New Latin American Film Festival, and Proyecto Palomas.
A grant of 10,000 USD is offered for film production, along with technical guidance and creative support. The selected short film will be screened at the Havana International New Latin American Film Festival.
Projects can be fiction or documentary, up to 15 minutes in length, and should address themes such as gender justice, bodily autonomy, human rights, aging, and diversity. Applicants must submit a form, synopsis, full script, motivation letter, budget, production timeline, and CV.
The application deadline is November 18, 2025, with the final film due by October 30, 2026. The program aims to amplify the voices of older women in Cuban cinema, fostering diversity and fair representation in audiovisual media.
