The Residency is a five-week immersive program that aims to strengthen eight (8) film projects through a series of collective and individual activities, among which the narrative, project development, rewriting, and staging laboratories stand out. on stage.
In addition, residents will have the opportunity to connect their stories with professionals in the sector through the Meeting with Producers and other complementary spaces. The idea is that the scriptwriters have the time, space and tools that their projects need to move on to a new stage during the Residency.

The workshop is dedicated to directors and scriptwriters with a project in an early stage of development – initial idea, synopsis, short treatment – for a short film of any kind (animation, documentary, experimental and fiction) from the following countries: Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Israel, Italy, Kosovo, Lebanon, Malta, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Turkey.

IDFA - Industry Program
Ibermedia promotes the development of feature film projects aimed at the market, particularly the Ibero-American market. To be eligible for this aid, the participation of independent companies from at least two member countries of the fund is necessary, except in the cases of companies from El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua (where projects developed by one or more national production companies may also participate).
