This initiative's main objective is to enhance the quality of audiovisual projects by Ibero-American authors, aiming to maximize their potential and position them in a more secure and qualified production environment. The projects will be developed from their embryonic phase through a rigorous advisory process, culminating in a high-quality script capable of becoming a film and/or series.

The Cinefilia Corporation invites national and foreign scriptwriters to participate in the 10th International Script Laboratory 2022 - LabGuion, which will take place IN PERSON, at the Hotel Spa Santa Fe Colonial, in the municipality of Santa Fe de Antioquia (54 km from the city of Medellín), in two cohorts.

SCRIPT LAB - CINEFILIA
Script Review Workshop is a laboratory that provides independent filmmakers from around the world the opportunity to work intensively on their narrative feature scripts in an environment structured to foster professional collaboration and the development of high-quality scripts. The lab consists of a two-week residential workshop and a two-day online follow-up session.
The laboratory is run by professionals in the field with extensive experience. In addition to the script guidance provided by the facilitator through workshop sessions and one-on-one meetings, participants are given ample time to write. The lab offers participants the opportunity to work on their projects with other international filmmakers, be part of a community of like-minded artists, and access the Cine Qua Non Lab professional film network.

Sitges FanPitch Catalunya Imaginària is an international platform to promote and develop projects in fantastic, sci-fi, and horror genres. It focuses on Catalan-language projects, offering access to producers, distributors, and international industry professionals. Selected projects will compete in the Sitges FanPitch final. Requirements include a script in Catalan, project dossier in English, a 3-minute video pitch, and other documents. The competition offers travel grants and awards for the best projects, including opportunities at prestigious international film festivals.
