Truxa Muxa is an artistic residency held in Malerreka, Navarra, aimed at projects in development or production in animation, video games, or hybrid formats. The residency supports proposals with strong creative identity, narrative innovation, cultural sensitivity, environmental commitment, and a sustainable, inclusive vision. Projects of various formats —such as short or feature films, series, games, interactive experiences, or installations— are welcome, as long as they fit within the three focus areas. Selected projects take part in online training, personalized mentorships, and an in-person residency from September 18 to 22, 2025. Although the submission deadline has passed, it is still possible to attend the event as a guest or observer.

The IDFA Bertha Fund is a financing program dedicated to supporting socially and culturally impactful documentaries, especially from developing and transitioning countries. Its goal is to facilitate the development, production, and post-production of documentary projects that promote social change and diverse voices in documentary filmmaking.
The fund offers various grant types, including support for project development, production, and post-production. Applicants must demonstrate that their work addresses relevant issues for their communities and has the potential to generate positive social impact. Priority is given to filmmakers from the Global South, supporting stories that might not reach a global audience without this backing.
Calls for applications typically open twice a year, usually in spring and summer. Applicants need to submit a complete proposal including project details, financing plan, audiovisual samples, and a motivation letter.
