The Film Poster Competition of the 46th Havana International Festival of New Latin American Cinema invites graphic designers, visual artists, and creatives from Latin America and the Caribbean to submit original posters related to Latin American cinema. Posters must be unpublished, created in 2024 or 2025, and not previously exhibited or awarded.

The Inspired Screenwriting Competition
The LATINX 2025 Latin American Argument Contest, organized by the Latin American Training Center (LATC), targets emerging screenwriters, students, and recent graduates from Latin America with no produced feature films. The call accepts up to 3-page synopses for fiction or documentary feature films centered on the theme “Latin American Places.” Applications are open until July 2, 2025, with various fees and discounts for diversity and inclusion groups, as well as a social fee waiver option. Scripts must be written in Spanish and not have been previously awarded or published.

UNPRODUCED SCRIPT COMPETITION – LA HABANA
The Short Distribution Market is an initiative of the Cerdanya Film Festival aimed at connecting short film creators with distributors, festivals, and platforms. It is open to fiction, animation, and documentary projects, both national and international.
Selected participants will present their works in private sessions to industry professionals, with the goal of facilitating distribution and exhibition agreements. This market will take place during the festival's Industry Days, held from July 28 to August 17, 2025, in Puigcerdà, Catalonia.
