Tres Puertos is a workshop with residency-like characteristics for feature film projects in the development stage. Throughout its history, it has held sessions in Argentina, Chile, Costa Rica, and Mexico. The workshop focuses on both the narrative, aesthetic, thematic, and conceptual aspects of the projects, as well as on production-related areas and financing circuits. Tres Puertos does not work with thematic modules but rather approaches each project based on its specific needs.

Projects accepted include feature films, short films, series, documentaries, animation, extended reality (VR/AR), and narrative video games, whether in development or completed. Applicants must register in advance, submitting a dossier with synopsis, project status, financing needs, and audiovisual materials like teasers or trailers if available. Participation in panels and workshops is free with prior registration and does not require a project submission. The university short film showcase call is open until early July, while business round registrations usually close by late July. The event promotes coproduction, distribution, and commercialization in Brazil and internationally, integrating new technologies such as artificial intelligence and virtual reality. The Izmir Film Lab 2025 will take place during the 26th Izmir International Short Film Festival, from 14 to 16 November 2025 at the İzQ Entrepreneurship Center.
The call is open to short film projects in development—fiction, documentary, animation, experimental, fantasy, horror, or music video—as long as the final work does not exceed 30 minutes. Both national and local (Izmir-based) filmmakers are welcome.

Selected projects will be presented through a 5‑minute pitch before a professional jury, followed by networking sessions with producers. Participants also gain access to training workshops on sustainable film production, directing, image techniques, new technologies, and distribution.

The Film Lab is supported by companies such as TamTam, Rollart Film, Public Film, Fono Film, Serpil Altın Film, and Mediacast Film Lab, offering awards and production services to outstanding projects.

Registration is done through the festival’s official Linktree, where full guidelines and deadlines are published.
