Impulso Morelia 11 calls for Mexican feature films (fiction or documentary) in postproduction to participate in its 2025 edition. Selected projects will be presented to international experts (programmers, distributors, producers) to receive feedback and support for completion and circulation.
The call closes on July 23, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. CST. Results will be published on August 26, with the in-person meeting taking place October 13–15 during the 23rd FICM.
Eligible projects must have a rough cut between 70 and 120 minutes, directed by Mexican citizens or legal residents in Mexico, and must not have participated in other work-in-progress programs or previous Impulso Morelia editions.
Awards include the José María Riba Prize ($250,000 MXN), postproduction services worth over 1 million pesos, and promotional support.

Morelia Impulse - FICM
Festival Internacional de Cine de Lebu MATCH CINELEBU 2026 is an industry platform organized by the Lebu International Film Festival within the BIOBÍO CONECTA section, aimed at supporting Ibero-American audiovisual projects in development. The call is open to unfilmed fiction short films, feature films, and series, with a focus on projects that combine strong narrative value and commercial potential.
Up to six projects will be selected to participate in pitching sessions, one-on-one industry meetings, and professional networking activities taking place from May 26 to 30, 2026, in Concepción. Each selected team will present a five-minute pitch before national and international experts and will gain access to meetings with film funds, distributors, sales agents, and strategic industry partners.
Participation is free of charge. Applicants must submit a single PDF dossier in Spanish including technical information, synopsis, narrative treatment, biographies of the director and producer, current development stage, and work plan. The festival covers accommodation and meals for one representative per selected project.

BIOBIO CONECTA - CINELEBU MATCH
The UNIFEST Film 2025 call for entries includes a “Best Short Film Script” category for writers from Mexico and the United States. Any genre or theme is accepted, as long as the script is original, unpublished, and intended for a short film. Submissions are open from January 31 to July 31, 2025 via FilmFreeway. The prize consists of two days of professional filming equipment rental (4K camera, lenses, lights, sound) and one free day in a studio, to support the winning project’s production. Results will be announced between August 28 and 31, 2025. You must attach the required documents (ID, synopsis, rights registration) and follow the festival’s social media. UNIFEST Film – Best Short Film Screenplay
The CINELEBU Work in Progress 2026 call, organized within Festival Internacional de Cine de Lebu and its industry section BioBio Conecta, is exclusively aimed at fiction and animation short films that have reached a first cut or rough cut stage. Eligible projects include national productions or international co-productions, with a running time between 5 and 15 minutes including credits, and no thematic restrictions.
Submission is free of charge through Festhome until April 20, 2026. Selected projects must attend in-person pitching sessions during the industry event held in Concepción from May 26 to 30.
The program offers two main awards: an image post-production and deliverables package granted by Chemistry, valued at up to USD 30,000, and an international distribution award provided by Festhome. Awarded projects must include the corresponding logos in their credits and commit the finished short film to premiere or pre-premiere at Cinelebu 2027.

BIOBIO CONNECTS - WIP
La convocatoria del Conexões Gramado Film Market 2025 está abierta para profesionales y empresas del sector audiovisual que deseen participar en las rondas de negocios, paneles, talleres y exhibiciones durante el Festival de Cine de Gramado. Se aceptan proyectos de largometrajes, cortometrajes, series, documentales, animación, realidad extendida (VR/AR) y videojuegos narrativos, tanto en desarrollo como terminados. Los interesados deben inscribirse previamente, presentando un dossier que incluya sinopsis, estado del proyecto, necesidades de financiamiento y materiales audiovisuales como teaser o tráiler, si los tienen. La participación en paneles y talleres es gratuita y abierta con inscripción previa, sin necesidad de presentar proyecto. La convocatoria para la muestra universitaria de cortometrajes está abierta hasta principios de julio, mientras que la inscripción para las rondas de negocios suele cerrarse a finales de julio.
