Industry Academy Costa Rica is an intensive training program created by the Locarno Film Festival in 2014, designed for young professionals in the film industry working in areas such as distribution, sales, marketing, exhibition, and festival programming.
The second edition of Industry Academy Costa Rica will take place in the last week of June 2025 at the Museum of Art and Contemporary Design (MAUCC), in collaboration with the Costa Rica Film Commission, Pacifica Grey, and Procomer.

Los programas para artistas del Instituto Sundance brindan apoyo dinámico en cada paso del viaje creativo para personas con voces distintas en el cine y la narración episódica. Cada programa consta de laboratorios, becas, intensivos, sesiones y recursos continuos para que los artistas fomenten sus proyectos y sostengan sus carreras. A través de actividades durante todo el año, brindamos el espacio para que los artistas creen y compartan sus historias con el mundo. Desde nuestros inicios, los programas del Instituto han apoyado a más de 11.000 artistas y han fomentado una comunidad para que los narradores independientes aprendan, crezcan, se conecten y retribuyan.
