WIP FECILS 2026 is the industry section of the Festival Internacional de Cine de La Serena dedicated to supporting Chilean audiovisual projects in the post-production stage. The call is open to fiction and documentary feature films and short films created by filmmakers residing outside the Metropolitan Region, with the aim of promoting the decentralization of Chile’s audiovisual sector. Submissions are open until August 21, 2026. Selected projects will take part in screenings and one-on-one feedback sessions with a jury of industry professionals during the festival week. As a Work in Progress platform, the program offers post-production awards focused on color grading and sound, helping selected projects complete and strengthen their final versions.

FECILS - WIP
The Cinenido 2025 call for the international screenwriting residency is open to screenwriters worldwide with audiovisual projects at any stage (fiction, documentary, film or TV, animation or live action). The residency will take place from July 28 to August 4, 2025, at El Molino de Lecrín Farm School (Granada, Spain).
The program stands out for its family-friendly approach: selected participants may attend with children under 14, who will enjoy creative and nature-based activities while parents develop their scripts. Between 10 and 12 screenwriters will be selected.
The application deadline is June 5, 2025, at 23:59 (Spain time). The fee is €1,490 per adult and €350 per child, covering training, lodging, and meals.

CINENIDO
AGAPI IMPULSA COPROS is a free program aimed at young Galician creators under 30 with original film or TV projects in Galician or Spanish, linked to Galicia or its culture. The call is open from May 22 to June 5, 2025. Five projects of feature films or series in fiction, animation, or documentary will be selected. Each project will receive mentorship from an experienced executive producer for three months to improve development and financing. Participants must submit a project dossier, registration form, and photo. Selection is done by a committee of audiovisual production experts. Personalized mentoring will take place from June to September 2025. Participation implies acceptance of the program’s full terms.

AGAPI IMPULSA COPROS
The 4th Development Lab for Indigenous and Afro-descendant Filmmakers of Mexico, organized by the Morelia International Film Festival (Morelia Pro) with support from Netflix, is designed to support film projects in the development stage. The call is open exclusively to Mexican nationals who identify as Afro-descendant and/or members of Indigenous communities.
The program accepts fiction, documentary, animation, and transmedia projects of any length, provided they have an advanced script or treatment. Participants receive professional guidance in story development, project structure, financing, co-production, legal matters, and distribution strategies.
The application deadline is June 19, 2026, at 6:00 PM (Mexico City time). The laboratory will take place in person in Morelia, Michoacán, from October 14 to 18, 2026. Ten projects will be selected to participate in this edition.

FICM – Workshop for Indigenous and Afrodescendant Filmmakers from Mexico
DAMA Cortos 2026 is a Spanish call for projects focused on the development and production of original, unpublished fiction short films. The initiative is aimed at DAMA members who wish to develop projects designed to be filmed in a single shooting day and with a maximum of three locations within the same city.
The call exclusively accepts fiction short films and does not admit documentaries, animation projects, series, or feature films. Selected projects advance to a final pitching stage, where finalists present their proposals before an industry jury. One winning project is then chosen for production support.
Applications will be open from May 14 to June 10, 2026, with the deadline set at 2:00 p.m. (Spanish mainland time). Each participant may submit up to two projects. Among the finalists, one winning project will receive production support of up to €30,000.
