The Europe-Latin America Co-Production Forum at the San Sebastián Festival 2025 will take place from September 22 to 24. It is aimed at fiction and non-fiction projects with a minimum duration of 60 minutes and at least 20% secured funding. European projects must have an explicit connection to Latin America. The call for submissions is open from April 16 to June 16, 2025 .
The Forum facilitates meetings between producers, financiers, and industry professionals to promote co-productions between Europe and Latin America. Additionally, awards are offered to support the development of selected projects .

SSIFF - Europe-Latin America Co-Production Forum
ALGA Residency is open to filmmakers and audiovisual professionals from Ibero-America, Spain, and Portugal. It supports feature films and series in development, of any genre or format, including fiction, documentary, and experimental. The residency lasts 4 weeks, from August 18 to September 14, 2025, in Valdivia, Chile. Participants will receive mentorship, accommodation, internal transport, and a stipend (400,000 CLP), with 500 USD for international travel.
Applications are open until April 24, 2025, with a registration fee of 25,000 CLP or 25 USD. Selected projects will be announced on June 15, 2025.

Residencia Alga
The Venice Production Bridge 2025 will take place from August 28 to September 3 during the 82nd Venice International Film Festival. This platform is designed to boost the financing and co-production of audiovisual projects in advanced development stages. It brings together global industry professionals through initiatives such as the Venice Gap-Financing Market, which showcases fiction feature films, creative documentaries, and immersive projects that have at least 70% of their funding secured.
Other key sections include Final Cut in Venice, supporting post-production films from Africa and the Arab world; the Book Adaptation Rights Market, connecting publishers and literary agents with producers; and the Venice Immersive Market, focused on XR, VR, and AR experiences. Additionally, the Meet the Streamers program facilitates direct contact with streaming and VOD platforms. In 2025, the spotlight will be on the United Kingdom, Chile, and Morocco, with curated events promoting their film industries.

The activities program includes
Blood Window LAB: Advisory sessions with industry representatives and fantasy film specialists. During the sessions, the authors will have the opportunity to pitch and promote their projects before a jury and select audience made up of industry professionals. The projects participate for participation prizes in workshops and international industry events.
FANT.LATINA: New call that proposes to give visibility to the work of Latin American filmmakers who have fantastic and horror film projects.
Within the framework of the Blood Window program, pitch and advisory sessions will be held for the representatives of the selected projects.
Screenings: Exclusive screenings for the film industry in post-production and market premiere.
Meeting Tables: Meetings scheduled with industry specialists that support the development of new talent.
