The "Desafío en una Toma 2025" call is part of the DETOUR.uy New Film Festival, aimed at Uruguayan audiovisual artists and students aged 18 and over. Works must be filmed between July and September 2025 and submitted in digital format (.MP4 HD). Submission deadline is September 14, 2025, with finalists announced on September 20 and screening during the festival's 13th edition in October 2025. Detour Challenge 2025: ONE-SHOT COMEDY
The ÍCARO Market 2025 call, part of the Ícaro International Film Festival in Guatemala, invites Spanish-speaking filmmakers from any country to submit projects in development seeking co‑production. Eligible formats include feature films (fiction or documentary), animation, hybrid projects, and series.
Submissions were open from June 15 to August 15, 2025 through an online form. From all entries, 12 projects are selected to receive mentoring and pitch training in a virtual phase held October 18–25, 2025. These projects are then showcased in the in‑person phase, November 24–29, 2025 in Guatemala City, during the Ícaro Festival, to producers and industry professionals to build co‑production partnerships.
The call is international, aiming to strengthen Spanish‑language cinema through networking, incentives, and professional opportunities.

CUTTING-EDGE INCUBATOR
The CineLab Chile call is an initiative by the Chilean Film Academy in partnership with Netflix to support the development of feature films directed by women or individuals with female gender experience. It is aimed at emerging filmmakers with projects in the first or second stage of development.
Up to eight projects will be selected to receive mentorship, masterclasses, and support to enhance their scripts and production. The call is open until August 20, 2025, with activities starting in October, including virtual sessions and in-person meetings in December, covering expenses for two members per project.
Projects must be fiction feature films with no narrative genre restrictions. Applications are made exclusively through the official site cinelab.cl, where guidelines and forms are available. The program promotes gender equity in the Chilean audiovisual industry by supporting the training and development of emerging filmmakers.

CineLab
The International Producers Meeting - Documentary 2025 Call, organized by the Ministry of Cultures, Arts, and Knowledge, aims to support Latin American feature-length documentaries in development.
