Join us for the ssecond annual ICE Film Fest being held in conjunction with the Independent Creator's Expo on February 17, 2017 at the Holiday Inn Express Centerville located at 5655 Wilmington Pike, Dayton Ohio 45459. Call 937-424-5757 for room reservations.
Founded in 2013, The Independent Creators Expo celebrates independent comics, music, film and small press in all forms. Deciding to expand, ICE partnered with Frankly Zoe Productions to produce the ICE Film Festival. In our first year we screened 5 features and 42 shorts out of over 200 submissions from 32 states and 16 different countries. This year we are looking forward to even more submissions from around the world.
Our panel of judges, all with extensive backgrounds in the independent film industry, will pick the best of the best from all of the submissions. And on Saturday night when the screenings wrap, awards will be presented for Best Feature, Best Short, Audience Choice, and Best of Fest.
Plaques will be awarded for Best Short, Best Feature, and Best of Fest. Honorable Mention certificates will also be awarded in the Shorts and Features categories.

Filmmakers whose films are accepted into the festival will have until February 1st to supply the final copy and a back up copy of their film for screening. Films received after the deadline of December 15th will be entered into the next year's festival. Due to the number of submissions, screeners will not be returned.
The ICE Film Fest has no completion dates or world premiere regulations. However, if a filmmaker has a distribution deal, the festival must have permission (in writing) to screen the film free of charge from the distributor. It is solely the filmmaker's responsibility to provide this written permission and the filmmaker assumes any and all liability.
The ICE Film Festival is not a genre specific film festival. However, it is the sole discretion of the judging panel to reject a film based on content that might not be appropriate for general audiences. Foreign language films must be subtitled or dubbed into English.
