It is a mandatory requirement for submitting Works that the main setting (at least 50% of the footage) be a national environmental setting.
Participants must provide reliable proof that the locations appearing in the Works are Spanish locations, should the organization request it.
However, the subject matter of the short films is open; the environment serves only as the framework in which the stories take place, without it being necessary for this to influence their theme.
