The FestiBaldo was born with a lot of excitement and also a lot of effort, in the neighborhood of Sant Roc (Badalona), in the year 2022. It is a festival organized by the students of the 4th year of the ESO of the Institute Baldomer Solà School.

Tired of the same type of young people always appearing in films and series, lives isolated from our reality, a group of young people have organized themselves to prepare a short film show that presents diverse realities with a critical and sincere look .

The festival will have the following prizes:

- Prize for the best short film and the best direction according to the official jury

- Prize for the best short film with a social theme according to the neighborhood jury

- Audience Award for the best short film

- Prize for the best short film in Catalan

1. Short films from all countries of the world can participate in FestiBaldo. The short films must have a maximum duration of 20 minutes, and must have been made after December 31, 2021.

2. Although short films of any cinematographic genre (animation, fiction, documentary, etc.) can participate, those dealing with social issues and, more specifically, those related to the lives of young people, will be especially valued.

3. Registration for the festival will only take place through the FESTHOME platform (www.festhome.com), and until January 15, 2023.

4. The selected short films will receive an official notification from the festival via email, to which you must respond by sending a download link of the short film (via vimeo or we transfer) and the requested documentation before April 30, 2023 .

5. Els curtmetratges en llengües que no siguin català o castellà, hauran d’incorporar subtítols en català o castellà.

6. The festival will have the following juries:

- an official jury composed of members of the world of cinema and the arts;
- a jury of neighbors and neighborhood associations;
- a student jury formed by secondary school students.

7. The festival will have the following prizes:

- Prize for the best short film and the best direction according to the official jury
- Prize for the best short film with a social theme according to the neighborhood jury
- Audience Award for the best short film
- Prize for the best short film in Catalan

8. The festival may edit and use printed material of the works exhibited. Likewise, you may use a fragment of the work for its dissemination in the media or social networks.

9. The organization reserves the right to show the selected films during the celebration of the festival. For this reason, it will be essential that the production companies cede free of charge the public exhibition rights of the short films selected during the time of the Festival.

10. The organization reserves the right to partially or fully modify these rules at any time.

11. Participation in the festival implies full acceptance of these rules.
