Concurso Internacional de Cortometrajes CINEMAD ()

-Award CINEMAD for the best Short Film, fiction category: 1000 €.
-Award LA VÍA LÁCTEA for the best Music video: 1000€.
-Award LA BOCINA for the best Sound, fiction category: Sound Postproduction Services valued at 3.000€.
-Award EVASIÓN for the best Edition, fiction category: Image editing Postproduction Services valued at 5000€.
-Award FILMIN for the best Director, one year Premium subscription to filmin.es valued at 110€. *Amounts before taxes

1. International competition where participants can run individually or as a group. The material presented should have finalized its production after January 7th, 2012.

2. The Categories and length of the films are established as follows (credits included):

A) FICTION: 20 minutes maximum

B) MUSIC VIDEO: 5 minutes maximum

3. There is no limit for the amount of films presented by the same director or production company. Each fiction short film must be presented only in PAL Video DVD format (Zone 2) and 16/9, along with the completed registration form. ENTRY FORMS WHICH ARE NOT PROPERLY FILLED IN AND WORKS PRESENTED IN PREVIOUS EDITIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

4. A jury composed of members of the film industry, music, radio, television, design, publicity and the art world will select the best films and award the following prizes:

1. Award CINEMAD for the best Short Film, fiction category: 1000 €.

2. Award LA VÍA LÁCTEA for the best Music video: 1000€.

3. Award LA BOCINA for the best Sound, fiction category: Sound Postproduction Services valued at 3.000€.

4. Award EVASIÓN for the best Edition, fiction category: Image editing Postproduction Services valued at 5000€.

5. Award FILMIN for the best Director, one year Premium subscription to filmin.es valued at 110€. *Amounts before taxes

5. The winning films as well as the finalists will be screened during Cinemad '13 (22nd - 30th November 2013) at several venues and on finlmin.es and on www.cinemad.org. Cinemad will contact the responsible of each film in order to obtain a copy in the original format and inform them of the date, time and venue where it will be shown.

6. The participants will be able to choose to participate in “Cinemad on Tour” (giving its consent for this aim), a travelling festival whose main purpose is the promotion of the short films selected in other communities or countries and the exchange of films with compatible cinematographic festivals.

7. The organization and sponsors of the awards, will be free to use the selected works of the contest as a whole or even pieces of them, for promotional purposes of the contest and the awards in all media including the web site (except for TV).

8. All shipping expenses are the responsibility of each participant. Cinemad will not be responsible for returning the material presented in the contest. Participants will be able to pick up their copies until 13th December 2013 at the following address: C/ San Bernardo, 8. 4º izda. 28015 – Madrid SPAIN.

9. The participants guarantee that the works presented to the competition are original, do not violate the rights of third parts and have not made or will not make any act susceptible to interfere or complicate the organization of the festival or the sponsors the total and peaceful exercise of the rights established on the bases of the competition.

10. The personal data facilitated in order to be able to participate in the competition, will be treated and incorporated to the corresponding file of the organization of the competition, as stipulated in the Law 15/1999, of 13 of December, Protection of Personal data. The purpose of data collection and treatment of the personal data is to manage competition participants, mailing information regarding the competition to these participants as well keeping them informed of future activities and other activities the organization of the competition might hold. In order to modify or cancel the access to personal data obtained by the organization of the competition, the interested should send an email to the address indicated below (point 12).

11. Participating films will be accepted until October 31st, 2013. Material received after that date will not be accepted, regardless of the date of the postmark. The presentation of a film by the established deadline confirms the agreement of all rules previously established.
