The Curtas Fashion Festival is exclusively dedicated to the promotion of short-film audiovisual works with a fashion theme - highlighting the know-how of industry and handicrafts in this segment.

The Festival exhibits works finalized in digital supports, with a maximum duration of 3 minutes, and is competitive and informative.
The programming of the 1st edition of the Curtas Fashion Festival 2017 will be made up of the "O Saber Fazer do Moda" and Most Cena 1. Showcase with the main objective of promoting the exhibition, promotion and production of the short-lived audiovisual work of the fashion universe. In addition to the screening of films, the Festival also promotes workshops, lectures and debates.

Films for the competition at the Mostra Saber Fazer Fashion competition are free.

Awards

Special Selection of the Jury - Prizes for the first 03 places

Technical awards for films of the national competition will be defined later, if the organization of the festival is able to attribute and constitute a special jury.

Other prizes may also be awarded by sponsors and / or partners who wish to value and promote the work of new filmmakers. The producers of the selected films will be notified in advance for possible acceptance in participating in a prize competition involving the granting of exhibition rights or related.

GOALS

Mostra Saber Fazer Moda is a competitive show with free sign up videos and stimulus awards. Its aim is to promote the know-how of the fashion industry and fashion handicraft by presenting the richness of local production through dynamic images in micro-films, using this new promotion tool to generate greater social achievements, attract new markets, Sales potential and open up new options for fashion.
Period and Location The Most Popular Fashion Show will be held during the Curtas Fashion Festival on september 05, 2017 in the city of Belo Horizonte - MG.

Entries for the Short Fashion Festival 2017 - Fashion Show Saber are open from July 8 until July 28, 2017.

Films must be submitted for evaluation of the selection committee by the Festhome online registration platform (www.festhome.com).

Links of films sent by e-mail, or physical copies sent by mail, will only be accepted in special cases and with prior authorization from the direction and schedule of the festival.
Movies should be up to 3 minutes long.

Films entered for the selection must ensure that they have the rights to display images and perform the soundtrack contained in the work, for festival display and public non-profit exhibitions, and exempt the Short Film Festival Organization from payment of Rights in its display.

Criteria for selecting and sending copies and material for display

There will be selected 30 minutes of material that will compose the programs of Mostra Saber Fazer Moda. Other films may include thematic and special programs, with the consent of the director / producer.

Movies that are linked to a brand or company will not be accepted.

They will be able to participate in the selection for the Mostra National Fashion Films that present a creative proposal with names and concepts related to the Brazilian: by the nationality of its elements, being established in Brazil or another criterion that conote it publicly with The Brazil.

The list of selected films will be officially announced until August 2, 2017.

The display formats of the selected movies will be MP4 H264. Specific technical information on the formats to be displayed will be given at the time of the release of the selected films. Other display formats may be used eventually, and will be analyzed on a case-by-case basis by Festival production.

Copies of the selected films must be at the Festival address no later than August 6, 2017.
Other promotional materials, such as posters and flyers for dissemination, should reach the organization of the Festival until August 6, 2017.

The selected films must send a declaration, in a model to be forwarded by the organization, proving that they have the right to display the image and to perform the soundtrack for its festival exhibition until August 06, 2017.
All copies in MP4 H264 should be withdrawn at the festival office until two weeks after the end of the event.

With the consent of the candidate, all the information on the application form of the selected films, as well as up to 30 seconds of film images (in stream system), can be published and displayed through the digital platforms and social networks of the Festival on YouTube , Twitter, Instagram, FestHome and Facebook.

Jury
The jury will be composed of film and culture professionals, invited by the Festival organization, who will decide the prizes listed below. The jury's decision is supreme and autonomous.

The filing of a film at the Festival implies full acceptance of this regulation.
