Regulations II International Short Film Contest “Paradiso” Barrax


I. Terms and Conditions

The XI Festival de cine Paradiso de Barrax seek to blend traditional film with the most innovative national short films and get the best selection.

All people born or who are residents outside of Spain can participate in the contest.

There is not an age limit nor number of participants in a short film.

Entrants may submit as many entries as desired


II. Tecnhical conditions

Short films entered must have been produced after January 1st, 2013 and have never been submitted to this festival in former editions.

Maximum length shall not exceed 30 minutes

There are no thematic restrictions, but advertising short films are excluded.

There is a specific format (.mov y H.264).

Films will be submitted in their original language. If other than Spanish, films need to be subtitled in Spanish.


III. Submissions

Entrants have to create an account at FESTHOME and upload the video file

Submission fee is 2 euros.

Submission deadline is 10 May 2015


IV. Selected Films

Selected films will be advised two months after submission deadline.

Entrants authorize the Festival organization to broadcast these film clips in any media so as to promote the Festival. The Festival may equally use movie and director pictures for press and other media, as well as for the festival catalog.

Entrants authorize the festival organization to keep a copy of their Works to promote by hardware, without comercial proposes. The organization refuses admisión to exhibit the selected films.


V. Recompensed selected films

Selected films will recieve 20€ less tax withholding


VI.Prizes

Prizes will be a trophy and also a cash prize
• First Award of the jury
• Audience Award, It will be choosen between the National and International Contest.

You will need to provide an invoice for awards of over 300 €

Participation in the contest implies total acceptance of these conditions
