Showcase work through its narrative, its characters and / or leguaje explore the theme: cycling. It comes in the framework of Guanajuato Bike Fest.

- The Selected short films will be screened during the activities of the Bike Fest 2016 Guanajuato.

Prizes will be awarded by the sponsors for the First, Second and Third place competing in each category.

A certificate of participation will be delivered to all selected films.

CALL FOR ENTRIES

Filmmakers, videographers, visual artists and interested in participating in the 1st Exhibition of Short Wheel, Bike Film Guanajuato, to submit their short films under the following


Rules


FIRST.- Films which, through its narrative, its characters and / or language, explore the topic CYCLING, can participate.


SECOND.- The competition categories are:

- Fiction

- Animation

- Experimental

- Documentary film

- Videoclip


THIRD.- To open competition category in receipt of a minimum of 5 jobs is required.


FOURTH.- There is no deadline for the number of short by filmmaker.


FIFTH.- The maximum duration is 30 minutes


SIXTH.- may participate films made in any digital format exhibition whose format is .mp4, .mov, .avi or any HD format.


SEVENTH The materials must be submitted
in Spanish, English or subtitled in any of these languages, preferably in Spanish.


EIGHTH The films can be sent through FESTHOME (http://www.festhome.com)


NINTH Registration for the competition is free. An author can register a work for each competitive section. In the case of the submissions by the author FESTHOME absorb the quota established by these platforms, which is not a registration fee.


TENTH: It is necessary to attach registration:

- Still photo work (300 dpi).
- Technical details of the work and synopsis (English and Spanish)
- Brief biography of the director (English and Spanish).
- Photography director (300 dpi), preferably on your bike.


DEADLINE OF MATERIALS:

31 AUGUST 2016.

Both for registration as for delivery, the postmark date (in the case of postage) will be considered valid.

They -The handling of the work involved, from its origin to the office of the Cine Club, shall be borne by the participants.


SELECTION AND JURY

The selection of works will be competence of a jury chosen by the organizers of the exhibition, which will be composed of recognized experts in the audiovisual field and cycling. The jury will evaluate all aspects of the work: idea, script, direction, execution, interpretation, style, editing and photography, positively valuing creativity and artistic quality of the production.
