The four edition of "il Corto in Spiaggia" will take place July 19, 2019 in the beautiful setting of the"LIDO IDELMERY" at Taggia (IM) with projection of shorts finalists and the possibility of projection of out-of-competition works as well as collateral events.
The festival is organized by the cultural association W.A.A. (We and art) in collaboration with Lido Idelmery.
The festival is born from the desire to enhance, disseminate and promote the cinematic art, in particular the works with tematica on the beauty and uniqueness of the sea, all in a beautiful location on the sea.

 Prizes will be awarded to the first place in each section plus a special audience prize, in addition to the awards for best screenplay, photography, actor and actress.
Hospitality and accommodation for the evening will be organized for the winners.

Regulations

The four edition of "Il Corto in Spiaggia" will take place on 19 july 2019 in the splendid setting of the
"LIDO IDELMERY" in Taggia (IM), with the screening of the short finalists and the possibility of screening out-of-competition works as well as collateral events.

The festival is organized by the W.a.A. (We and Art) in collaboration with the Lido Idelmery establishment
Participation in the competition costs 10 euros.

Art. 1 Sections

- ITALIAN SHORTS

- INTERNATIONAL SHORTS

Art. 2 General rules
The productions must not exceed 15 minutes, including the opening and closing credits, for each section.

In the ITALIAN SHORTS section all the fictional works will be taken into consideration, without limitation of the theme, provided they are produced in Italy starting from 2014 and that they respect the limit of 15 minutes duration.

In the INTERNATIONAL SHORTS section, all works of genre fiction will be taken into consideration, without limiting the subject, provided they are produced outside the Italian territory starting from 2014 and that respect the 15-minute limit.

All foreign works must be subtitled, preferably in Italian or alternatively in English.

Art 3 Selection
The received works will be viewed by a commission that will select the finalist works for each section.
The judgment of the commission is unquestionable.
The Authors, whose works will be admitted to the final stage will be contacted by email.






Art. 4 releases
The works must be accompanied by the release form and the application form duly completed in its entirety and signed by the author or by the holder of the rights, who assumes responsibility for the truthfulness of the data indicated.
Each author can submit only one work for each section and for each one must send a specific registration form.

Art. 5 Method of sending works and payment

The works must be received no later than 12 may 2019, in case of sending by post will be the postmark
On-line: in mov, h264, avi format with WeTransfer or Jumbomail to ilcortoinspiaggia@gmail.com, it must be specified which section contributes to the work
Ordinary post: (postmark will not be accepted) the works must be sent on dvd pal to the following address: Ilcortoinspiaggia C / Or Lido Idelmery via Lungomare 102 / b 18018 Arma di Taggia (IM) Italy On the DVD must be indicated: title work, duration, author, section for which the work is involved. The envelope must have the acronym "Without commercial value for cultural purposes". The shipping costs are borne by the Applicant, the organization declines all responsibility for any postal delays, damage or loss.

Art. 6
 The author assumes all responsibility towards third parties for content, images and music

Art. 8
 participation in "Il Corto in Spiaggia" implies the acceptance of this regulation in its entirety. The organization may, due to unforeseen events or events, postpone the date indicating the deadline for entries to the competition, introduce changes to the dates of the event or, due to force majeure, cancel the event.
In case of impossibility to personally collect the prize or through a delegate, the winners will have to send the organization a video message to be shown during the award ceremony.

Personal data and materials, transmitted for any reason, will be processed solely for the purposes of the Festival, as a publication on social and web channels of the competition and / or association, as well as printed and online newspapers for the promotion of the festival and for future projections, free of charge for the association itself, which is the guarantor of the data sent.
This data will be kept in the archive for a total of 5 years, at any time the rights holder can request its cancellation
all in accordance with the LEGISLATIVE DECREE 30 June 2003, n.196 containing the "Code regarding the protection of personal data" with updating to the GDPR 2018.
